When our Jim was about 3, he always went with Wayne every hour of the day that he could while Wayne worked on the farm machinery or riding the tractor with him and such.

One day I was doing dishes and looked out the window, I saw him pushing his little tricycle directly in the mud hole and shoving it down to make it stuck. Wayne had one tractor that looked like a big tricycle with two front wheels close together and two large one in back resembling a big tricycle . As I watched I saw Jimmy step into the water and mount the tractor. He rocked it back and forth as if stuck, then he got off, went to the front of the tricycle, pretended to crank it, walked to the side and kicked the wheels hard, got back on and repeated the same procedure.

I walked to the door for some reason, most likely curiousity, and out to where he was, as he got off again and pretended to crank, then as he kicked the front wheels again, I heard him say "Dot Dam tuh Bitch" I shrieked " Jimmy !!!' He turned and jumped a few inches straight up.   I really lit in to him about what he had said. I told him it was a very bad thing to say. He looked at me puzzled and said "Dat's whut daddy shays".   I had to turn my head to keep from laughing.

So then my next order of the day was to catch up with Wayne to give him a piece of my mind.

Wayne could not stop laughing long enough for me to give him my whole speech.
