The "Classic style" was born in Rome (Italy) in the 17th century is strongly linked to Counterreformation. The school of Classicism sprang up in Italy searching for a direct and traditional art. One of the most important features is an attempt to appeal to the forms of Antic arts as to the real standard of authentic beauty. The base of aesthetics is grounded on the rationalistic principles. Any masterpiece of art is being considered as a fruit of intellect and logic celebrating victory over chaos and fluidity of the current life. Careful and logic planning belongs to the architecture of classicism. It's interior is inherent in itself the lucidity of space and softness of the colors. The plastic of this style differs from other styles by smoothing out it's forms. The moment of movement in attitudes of figures doesn't stress or breaks its calmness and reticence. Another one of distinguishable features is geometrism of volumetrical forms.
