The term warm glass refers to fusing, slumping, or glass casting which takes place at temperatures between 1100 and 1700 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hot glass refers to a glassblower's working timperature, often more than 2000 degrees F.
All art and jewelry start the same way. An idea, then sketch, then an attempt to create the idea. This doesn't always happen the way we hope.
After a piece is designed and created with each component, it goes into the kiln for the first firing. Some jewelry and art may require several firings to achieve the desired final look. |
