When enough magma  gathers in the magma chamber, a volcanoes can erupt.  The magma is pushed up by the other magma and flows to the top.  When magma reaches the top it is called laca.  The lava flows down the side of the mountain and destroys everything in its path.  Then, it starts gathering up more magma, to prepare for its eruption.
