Volcanoes can be very dangerous.  If you live too close to a volcano, when it erupts lava will burn it down to the ground.  The eruptions can spit out ash and blanket the land.  That is what happened with Mt. Saint Helens.  In conclusion, volcanoes will erupt and blanket the land in ash.  Either thator your house is going up in flames.
