Awareness' of an Eruption There are many different ways you can tell a volcano is about to erupt. Some volcanoes don't give warning however. Some volcanoes shoot out steam and steam only. Other volcanoes that do give warning might cause a little earthquake. With others, there could be both. A earthquake could follow a shower or the other way around.

Most of the time when a volcano is detected before eruption, it is to late to get away without any thing getting damaged. The slope of a volcano can possibly be help to detect the eruption. The slope tells what type of volcano it is. Scientist are trying to figure out a pattern in the certian types of volcanoes. Some of the times however the lava changes the shape of the slope.
