A 1995 Australian TV series staring Deborra-Lee Furness, who plays Louisa Correlli and would later, become Hugh's wife in real life. Hugh plays, Kevin Jones, a charismatic powder keg, initially maintaining an elaborate scam. He was pretending to suffer brain damage due to a head injury in order to keep himself from being returned to a maximum-security lockup. The intense performance of Jackman in this show earned him instant acclaim.
