Helen's fathers name may have been Daniel Griffin. Acording to Eleanors birth certificate Helen was born in Co. Kerry, Ireland. Her date of birth was determined from the death certificate. It would appear Helen entered the Pondville Hospital on December 12, 1938 and died on January 8th, 1939. Cause of death was Carcinoma of the stomach.

Helen married Jeremiah Collins, son of John Collins and Mary Hurley, on 16 Nov 1916 in Hyannis, Mass. (Jeremiah Collins was born in 1874 in County Cork Ireland and died on 16 Dec 1970 in Braintree, Massachusetts.)
