Tuesday 24.06.2003 we went to oldest pub in Tromso,Olhallen (=beer hall ), established 1928.
World's the most northern beer brewery is in same building and Mack beer is coming directly from the brewery's tank.
We decided to come organized tour to brewery later afternoon.
Before that walking in the city and short visit to Tromso museum.

Mack beer very expensive in EU because Norway not a memeber and everything is expensive in Norway anyway

Tour was very interesting, we were only 4 persons. Also two South American young sailors from luxury cruiser.
Many kind of beers and soft drinks ( most northern coca-cola brewery ) bottled here, since 1877.
Second northest brewery is in Murmansk, Russia, but some 3 minutes more south.
Grain for beer coming 2 times a week from Lahti, Finland.
Price 100NOK included also one free beer in cosy Olhallen. Lot of to see.
After Mack world we went to outdoors swimming place, telegrafbukta!
