Notes
about the banknote:
Kapitan Pattimura hailed from the Maluku Islands (then known as the Spice Islands) where he led a resistance
against the Dutch in the early 18th century. The Dutch eventually won because of military prowess and hanged him.
The back side of the note displays the islands of Maitara and Tidore, part of the Maluku islands.
