After the study of the Tudors, we continue Year 8 we see the arrival of James VI of Scotland, which introduces us to the Stuarts:- The Gunpowder Plot and the Civil War culminating in the Execution of Charles I and the rule of Oliver Cromwell. Plague and Fire round off this time of change and challenge.
