Introduction
Our Project is to build a sufficient
water cooling system for athlon XP 1800+ processor, GEforce 3
TI200 pro and Voodoo5 PCI on a MSI KT266 Pro2-ru board. Our goal
is to make our 1500mhz processor surpass the 2ghz barrier and be
stable for atleast 1 month and with a project cost for atleast
$100 (5,000 pesos) but not more than $150 (7500 Pesos). Staff eYeStRaIn The rest of locusts.org members who's
busy with thier bitches and thier jobs they serve as a fucking
inspiration for this project eventhough its corny to write this
remarks. Next time please attend the EB's ok?!! Stage 1 Collecting items from junks, hardware and
pet shop As you can see in the picture i coiled the 10 feet aluminum tube so it will serve as my radiator to cool
down the water after it was boiled by my processor and chips.
The process is called power exchanger since the coil has an exact size
of my fan blade, i need to buy another 10 feet tube for
the other fan. I hope its enough to cool down my liquid a few
degrees higher than the room temperature . Theres no more room for the pipes and tubes in my ATX mid tower case meaning this is not applicable for my design so i guess i need to save my cash for a lian li tower casing or for any casing that has more room for the pipes
and tubes, but i prefer lian-li cause it has a very good review
on many of hardware sites. So the water cooling assembly is put on
hold and rather make a temporary Air cooling system until i get a
tower case. For now, i remove the cover of my case
and put the air cleaner fan inside. It act as an intake
fan for supplying cool air inside my rig then i put the twin blade fan at the side making it a gigantic exhaust fan.
The Air cleaner fan ( Air
intake ) It supplies cool air to my
PCI and AGP cards as well as the DDRs but not enough to cool down
my processor :( Twin blade fan ( Big sucker! ) This thing sucks all
the air inside hehehe but still it gives me 49 degress celcius on my non overclocked processor but works well for GE force and voodoo they are both running on 190mhz, anyway its only temporary it will stay there until i got the tower case and if i didnt get it that sucker will stays forever. Stage 1 Complete.
Because overclocking is much more cheaper
than upgrades we must complete this project with less expenses but
should be running on a best performance.
Project Leader
Honestly he does all the work from buying on the hardware to
asssembly. Besides it is his concept so better leave him alone
coz if someone else mess up with the designs his blood pressure
will rise up making him a human time bomb.
BrEWtForZ
Technical Consultant
He is the one responsible for sharing his paycheck to me in order
to buy some stuff that we need e.i. Beer, Gin (kwatro kantos),
chaser and some snacks. This project will be impossible without
him. Through experience he knows a lot about overclocking and
super cooling a computer, last week he bought an AMD XP 1800+ and
SOYO Dragon motherboard, by his expertise he put the processor on
the mobo without the heatsink and the fan and guess what
happened, in 5 secs the processor goes bye bye.
Rayk3n
Thermal Engineer
The most dangerous job this project. It requires an expertise on
thermonuclear behavior on every component in our project.
Radioactive protective gears are required in this field, a single
mistake on this area means catastrophic disaster that could lead
to earth's destruction in short he is a beta tester, guinea pig
or lets call him Thermal engineer so it would sounds good for him
to watch our project for a month and report to us if it crash.
Cl0ner
Psychic
One of the most important staff in our project, he forsees the
future and he saw that this project
is a success.
