August Ramierez

Cyber Space

Jose McConner

In Cyber-Space pedestals....high places of special prominence and importance are readily available, without danger of falling off, due to the absence of gravitational forces which could normally "get you down". However due to the fact that their is no gravity in cyberspace, there is no place to fall. Only relative positioning exists with respect to the pedestal. Since there is no place else to go a person may as well hang around up there and enjoy the view for awhile. It is a dream world, an infinite fantasy land where everything is possible, everything available, always, but limited in that it is devoid of any physical interactions.True-Reality, however, is a harsh environment, a cruel and unusual beast, imposing limitations, restrictions, barriers, problems, inhibitions, constraints, but worst of all robbing us of our fantasies, our dreams, our aspirations, and even our desires. It slaps us down, suppressing us, and compressing us into idealistic molds, defined by stereotypical enclosures with hardened fasteners. We struggle to conform, to fit in, to adapt to the stringent requirements of law, morality, gravity, and other universal applications of physics. We normally live in True-Reality, the painful, unfair environment we all struggle to escape from but try as we may, we cannot. We continue to survive, always hoping but never receiving, always fighting and never winning.Cyber-Reality is a happy place, a widening zone of amalgamation interfacing Cyber-Space and True-Reality in a symbiosis of intertwined aspects and characteristics of both, but without constraints and limitations. We can dance, share, love, laugh, succeed, win, embrace, collaborate, and enjoy, without fear of judgment, reprisal, and consequence. We can be whoever we want, whatever we want, and reach out and touch that which we want, need, and desire. You are never too tall, too short, to skinny, to fat, to young, too old, too rich, too poor. All is well and perfect. There are no pedestals in Cyber-Reality. Only each other.

My Truest Love

Vincent McKay

I do not what I want to call you. Maybe My Love, My Sweet Angel, My Giver of Passionate Kisses, or My Greatest Blessing. I wish I had a special name by which I can identify you in all your splendor and by which I could elevate you in my mind and heart onto a pedestal of such great height that you could almost touch the moon. Then as the gentle night winds blow past your elegance, and your sweet fragrance wafts softly down to earth conveying your very essence to my very nostrils, and then I would know at last that my vision for you is fulfilled. Perhaps the sensibility of perpetuated anonymity precludes such an all encompassing revelation, requiring therefor the instituting of the resource of my own imagination.. What then, shall I call you? "My Sweet Angel" perhaps, representing my own preference. So, "My Sweetie " it is, thats the way it shall be,So you will always remain "My Sweetie" to me.When I receive your letters they touch me deeply. I was raised in the country. We learned about life and love in a more natural world, so my value system differs from our urban associates. We may have found ourselves aliens in a loveless society, where selfishness, and lack of consideration are the building blocks by which people base their lives and their relationships. It is truly a sorry state of affairs, but fortunately small pockets of reasonableness still exist, and even flourish . These can offset, and even overcome the tragic carnage resulting from the cold heartiness of today's humanity. Find these and be blessed with happiness.I want to mention sweetie, your words excite me, and guide me on a newly charted course of perfecting our acquaintance. I invite all your comments, and feeling, ideas, thoughts, desires and needs. Please extend your verbosity at will, as it sincerely my greatest pleasure to bask in the fullness of your words. Also that truthfulness can be absolute between us, do not hesitate to elaborate about your past. I am not interested in judging your past, only experiencing your present, and as life allows, perhaps a piece your future.
