5th six weeks---Ms. Lockwood
We are focusing on:
1) Completing Romeo and Juliet, including a final M/C and AP style essay test.
2) Research techniques/strategies. We'll start our research reports, due the final six weeks.
3) Critically reading and annotating Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.
Week of 3/26: While reading in the first phase, please use the annotation guide to annotate for PASTA.
Thurs/Friday: MAJOR GRADE will be the rough copy of your works cited page. You can work w/your partner on this, but you are responsible for turning in your own copy. For a DAILY GRADE you need to turn in research notes (print outs from web sites and notes from books, videos, etc). We will critically read/annotate those next week for a MAJOR GRADE.
Week of 2 April:
We will begin the ROUGH DRAFTS of our papers. Please see the yellow handout for guidance on how to write your papers.
Please complete STAGE ONE (through ch. 19) by THURS/FRIDAY. We will have a test and I will check your annotations during the testing period. Both are a MAJOR GRADE.
