Fundamentals II: My first real project dealing with the actual functionality of spaces and their interrelations.
Microstation: This is my studio one project slightly redesigned for modeling on the computer.
Design Studio 1: A rowhouse project in Ecuador. This project dealt mostly with scale and solar alignments, as well as views to the surrounding site.
Design Studio 2: This project dealt with a think tank on the North Carolina Coast. Prominate aspects of this project would again be solar angles as well as the flow of spaces for natural ventilation.
Design Studio 3: A collaborative effort with Cory Heralla. A light rail station for Savannah completely independent of it's energy grid, as well as parking, retail, an a complete uninteruption of the pre-existing transportation networks.
Bamboo Project: Another collaboration with Cory. This project is a swing and was developed to test the Bamboo materials natural strengths and weaknesses in bending and stress.
Design Studio 5: An internet research library in northern Italy. This basis of this project was the adaptive reuse of an existing house while also expanding the square footage.
Design Studio 7: A transit center for a class project dealing with a number of different facilities extending over five blocks of downtown Savannah. This project deals with the movement of buses, while trying to create a sense of arrival/departure as well as a place of community gathering. More will be added to this project.
