1109 is looking to book shows until we get kicked out. We're highly interested in punk rock, junk rock and good bands, as well as traveling film or art shows. Please, no pop punk. No one here is adverse to straight edge, but we do drink quite a bit.
The bands play in a well-carpeted living room, insulated both for good sound quality and so the neighbors don't call the fucking cops. We have a PA. It's minimal, yes, but we rig it up well. 1109 typically charges a $2 donation at the door, with touring bands getting the highest percentage of the door money. You'll be paid at the end of the night, once all the bands have played. There's a bar in the kitchen, if it's open on the night you play, band members get free drinks.
