All I Truly Know

I am nothing if not myself.
I do not need bits and pieces of others
To make me whole.
I do not seek love, but yet I find
It all around me.
I am as far from perfect as the earth
Is from the moon,
But yet I see perfection,
In the seas fury, the winds power,
The sweetness of a summer's day,
And the frostiness of winter.
I am a dreamer, for dreaming keeps me sane.
I do not look for God for God is everywhere,
In all, and yet in nothing.
The greatest gift I've ever I've ever received
Or given is friendship,
For it is not clouded by loves passion.
The greatest life I've ever known
Is mine, it is the only one I truly know,
The only one I can control.
The greatest life I've ever lived is this,
For if indeed there were
Or will be others,
They remain as foreign as the farthest star.
I am a giver, a taker, and a traveler.
Not knowing where my journey began
Or when it will end.
This is all I truly know.
From My Heart

May your joys be many,
Your troubles few,
May the love you give,
Be returned to you.
May good friends surround you,
Through the good times and bad.
May you never need more,
Then you already have.
May good luck and good fortune,
Find their way to your door.
And as long as you live,
May you never need more.
