Advantages:
Ambidexterity� Lock can easily use anything in either hand and can quickly switch between the two hands.

Knowledge� Lock attended a university and was always in a lab, machine shop, or library.
* Scientific Knowledge: He has a Masters in Mech. Engineering and was starting on his way to a PHD. He has vast knowledge in the fields of Engineering and science, ESP Physics, Mechanics, and Metallurgy.

Mechanical Expertise� He grew up and worked in a machine / Blacksmith shop, is a Mech engineer, and is a total gear head� need I say more? Due to his obsession with Mecha, his specialty is robotics.

Piloting- A very skilled aircraft pilot, he has a total of 7 kills in air-to-air combat against the equally skilled and equipped Southern American Union Pilots in the NATO v.s SAU war over agricultural and energy resources.

Disadvantages:
Code of Honor� He refuses to involve or kill innocent lives, although stealing from them is alright. Also, he treats women with respect and will be very gentle around them.

Compulsion/Addiction �Mecha Anime & Robots: An Otaku when it comes to anything related to mecha, he spends a good bit on anything mecha- related. He also seems to somehow always involve Mecha Anime with the subject at hand. This might make some of the more easily pissed off members want to kill him, or wipe out his precious model collection.

He also seems to lack a connection with most popular cultural and social subjects. He's fairly well-informed about the political and scientific world, but forget Hollywood and Sports.

Primary Weapon:
S/E Rifle: A combo rifle that can fire energy shots equivalent to a normal buster or .270 cal AP rounds in single or burst mode. Actuate, long ranged, and quick firing, it's drawbacks are the complexity of the weapon and it's nasty tenancy to overheat way before other weapons would under the same conditions. Also tends to be an energy hog when firing energy shots, so it needs lots of E-clips.

Secondary Weapons:
Scinfaxi &Vishounder : Lock's primary close-range weapons. A falchion (Think of a cutlass that has a straight back and is very heavy) & a Schiavona ( a kind of longsword.) Lock made and have always been at his side. Lock has inserted a plasma field generator in the hilts of both swords that activates when he swings the blades. While not hot enough to directly cut though most armor, it can heat up the armor just enough to allow the heavy tungsten carbide blade to slice though. While this does give the weapons slightly more anti-armor capability than standard beam-sabers, the plasma field dissipates quickly upon impact so if the armor is practically thick or the internal armoring is sufficient, the blade will become stuck inside the enemy. This is also complicated by the fact that Lock would be stuck right next to his opponent trying to free his blades.

Accessories:
Machinist�s Tool Set: Allows Lock to perform field repairs on any type of machinery.

Appearance:
Lock�s has an average height, but has broad shoulders and is thick boned. He looks fit, but his abs aren�t bulging out, and has a healthy light tan. His hair is brown with deep blue tips and highlights, his eyes are also the same blue. Overall, he has the look of a young adult, intellectual, tech-head, and solider combined. He would be considered somewhat attractive by women, but isn�t exactly �sexy� by any means.

His normal clothing consists of plain shirts and pants that have a multitude of pockets for all his tools. He wears his armored boots along with a blue and duster with dark silver buttons and lining. He also wears leather gloves on his hands and an armor plate on the back of them. He also has a matching hat. He also carries his sword with him at all times

Delta does wear armor, but it is restricted to arms, shoulder, chest, elbow and knee plates and armored boots. To make up for this lack of armor, Lock has mini-field generators that act as armor for the rest of his body but are not as strong as the armor plates. The armor is that same blue with dark silver but also has dark silver chevrons on the arm armor facing towards the hand. The hat does have a thin layer of armor underneath it as well.

Lock has a fairly good amount of experience and is a skilled swordsman and pretty good with his guns. He carries his sword, his primary weapon, on his left and his gun on his right, giving the mistaken idea that he is right handed. Interestingly enough, Lock is a southpaw and prefers to use his left hand to fight with his sword use his right one for other tasks, like shooting his gun. Of course, he is ambidextrous, but still has a preference for his left side.

Personality:
Lock is a mecha geek, first priority goes to the machines that he considers family, second are his comrades, then whatever else comes up. Comrades need not to worry though, as Lock keeps them safe and secure in his room. So unless you break in and try to steal them, you are safe. Also, while he isn't a chatter box, whenever he speaks, he always uses some military or Mecha related terminology in all his sentences.

Lock actually is somewhat quiet. He isn�t overly social, but still enjoys an intelligent or semi-intelligent conversation with people. Of course, he likes to party every once in a while, and enjoys a good spar. He doesn�t let things get to him, and brushes off a lot of things that would bother other people. Whether this is because he just doesn't think it's a problem, or whether he is in la-la land obsessing over the next Gundam series is the real question.

As for command structure, so long as they get him to the target, get the mission done, get paid, and come back, he doesn't particularly care if they look down on him or order him around. It's just more efficient to shut up and follow orders. Besides, sometimes you'll gain a bit more respect if you act a bit more mature.

He loves to build and invent all sorts of things in his free time and is open to commissions for special parts. His home is in the shop and you might as well put a hammock in there for him. He also likes to spar and mix drinks, though he seems to lack the ability to come up with anything good, in fact his cooking sucks. Other things that interest him are military history and old military equipment along with swimming and diving.

History:
Lock was born in Europe in NATO controlled Slovakia, the eastern-most country under control by them. He lost his parents in a maverick raid when he was just a newborn, and was given to his Grandfather, a master machinist and blacksmith, who owned a shop in a nearby town. The he was self-thought, and Lock became a skilled mechanic, machinist, and blacksmith. At 18, the he applied to the NATO Naval academy for engineering and passed, Lock was able to receive a Masters while on deployment.

His Deployment was in the NATO - Southern American Union war. A war fought over resources and trade that escalated to a full regional war. He was able to shoot down 7 enemy pilots over the two years of deployment, but at the end of the war, he was shot down over the Florida Keys by pirates, who just that day joined the SAU to push the NATO forces out of the area.

Even though the Keys were then in control of NATO, by the time the NATO Hospital in the region was pretty much in enemy territory. Although the SAU allowed supplies to reach the hospital for PR relations, they took any soldiers as prisoners. Thankfully for Lock, being converted into a cyborg removed his solider status under national rules of engagement until he could sign back up again.

Lock, not seeing any future in the civilian workplace leading a dull life and the military rejecting him as a pilot due to some legal and political BS, decided to strike it out on the American landmass as a merc. So, he slowly worked his way though the keys, bought some equipment off the pirates, and bought his airship ticket to Delta City�
