Short Fuse-

Primary Weapon:
Daul Wirebusters- They sound like grappling weapons, but are actually rapid fire, non-chargable plasma cannons. Hardwire can use both at once.

Special Accessories:
Jump Jets- Allow Hardwire to hover for short periods.

Special Abilities:
Wire shotgun: A wide, powerful energy blast fired from a single Wire Buster.

Rage Mode: A berserk mode where Hardwire's anger completely takes over, turning him into a nearly unstoppable killing machine. This cannot be activated at will, and is VERY seldom seen. Over exposure to any form of the Maverick Virus could trigger this.

Appearance:
Hardwire is a 5'3" Combat Reploid with spikey brownish orange hair. Several spikey strands stick out from behind his dome shaped skyblue and white helmet (which also houses a yellow-green triangular gem light). His armor is skyblue with white secondaries, and some black and gold. He has an irregulary shaped orange gem running down his torso. His upperarms have small, spherical gems as well. On his back and lower legs are black nozzle jets. These jets are designed for momentary hovering, and breaking large falls (which is why I hesitated to mark Hardwire as having flight ability for technically he can't fly). His armor is smooth, and somewhat rounded. He is armored with the latest generation of martian chobam armor, which is why he has such a glossy shine (until a battle that is).

Personality:
Hardwire is somewhat of a suspicious/alert person, in addition to being easily pissed off. Angering him will result in the use of his dreadful sounding (and highly vulgar) yelling and screaming. Hardwire is also somewhat of an absolutist in the since that he believes all Mavericks should be retired for the preservation of both humans and reploids. Although very prone to bad language, Hardwire actually is very polite and (tries) to respect those around him. He dosen't take well to rudeness, or being reminded of his past though. But he dosen't take well to seeing friends get killed either, and is totally merciless toward enemies. He tends to be a little secretive, and enjoys video games, movies, comics, strong beverages, and most of all, working with machinery. In his free time, he either trains, goes off to tinker with some machinery. Hardwire's biggest psychological weaknesses are bordem, guilt and sorrow.

History:
Hardwire was once a miner Reploid working for the martian colonization effort known as J.U.S.T. He lived rather peacefully with the humans around him (despite the fact that humans have always bugged him), his best friend and mission partner Eleixion, and his beloved older sister, Sondia. He enjoyed his work, as he has always had a thing for working with his hands. One day however, a mysterious enemy alien force called Meteos attacked, possessing Reploids and destroying the people, succeeding in driving the J.U.S.T. colonists back to Earth. Before long, Hardwire became the victim of a botched possesion, driving him insane (which in turn, caused him to slaughter upwards of 400 people). This was not helped by the fact that he nearly lost his closest friend and sister to the resultant war. Hardwire, Eleixion, and Sondia were among the first sent to Earth when it was time to go.

Not long after arriving on Earth, Hardwire was attacked by the Sigma Virus during a battle with one of Meteo's remanent forces, and nearly was destroyed by a certain crimson Maverick Hunter. Eleixion managed to save him, but he had become half-Maverick, harboring a small, dormant part of the virus within himself. If Hardwire is pushed too far, it could awaken, throwing Hard into a state of blinded rage.

While on the planet, Eleixion and Hardwire rose up against the Mavericks. But during their first battles against the hordes, they discovered that Meteos had somehow survived, and were planning on wiping out humanity. Thankfully, Elei and Hard stopped Meteos' alien leader Voyueax for good before the Maverick Hunters could realize that the threat existed, and followed J.U.S.T. back to Earth (jepradizing the mission), though tiny fragments of Meteos remain none the less.

Despite his heroic efforts against Meteos and the Mavericks, the humans in Hardwire's life grew to resent and fear him because he was half-Maverick, and was still prone to going into a berserk rage. At first Hardwire ignored it- or at least looked like he did. But one day, he deceided he could take it no more. He felt depressed, used and unwanted. He deceided it would be best to leave his solider life behind and go someplace where he wouldn't have to fear ridicule. After a difficult goodbye to his friends and family (who begged him to stay), he set out on his own. By chance, he came upon a Freelance Reploids poster while in an alleyway one frighteningly dull, rainy day. Without really being able to explain why, Hardwire was compelled to seek them out, and join their ranks. He went to them in the hopes he would be somewhere where he would finally feel normal... ...or at least excepted and appriciated.
