Personality:
Hannibal isnt what you might call your typical mad bomber, despite his obvious fascination with explosive devices. He loves tinkering with the multiple masks that explosives wear such as grenades, mines, mini rockets, etc. Hannibal marvels at how such tiny mechanisms can cause so much destruction and continues to educate himself in the study of explosives. He has no political or religious objectives; Hannibal does what he does for the love of blowing stuff up. Whenever he has a chance, hell stop by the orphanage and check up on the kids. He is usually fairly straightforward with those he encounters, but is prone to using sarcasm on a regular basis. Concerning people he works with, he doesnt mind helping them out, even if he wont get paid for it, but that usually depends on how generous hes feeling...

History:
Unlike most reploids, who are given the benefit of being assembled within large factories operated by powerful corporations, Hannibal started out as an old mans idea of bringing hope to the children of a run-down orphanage. The elderly man, who was a well-to-do inventor before he retired, thought that he might be able to introduce the children to the field of robotics by helping them construct a reploid from scratch. Unfortunately, the old inventor didnt have much going for him, finance-wise. However, the inventor was one of those few men in the world, whose sole purpose was to beat the odds and prove that the word impossible does not exist.

With the youthful vigor of the children, the group of rag-tag improvisers hunted for parts wherever they could find them: recycling bins behind engineering plants, junkyard heaps, five-and-dime appliance stores, etc. Their unusual sense of perseverance and even more familiar stubbornness paid off after three long years of intense labor. The children named their reploid after a character from an ancient 1980s television show, simply because names like Deathbringer and Shadowboy didnt appeal to them.

When Hannibal was activated, the inventor and the children were all pleased with their efforts. The inventor actually died after Hannibal said Good Morning to them. After the funeral, the children decided to educate Hannibal in the finer lessons in life; Pickpocketing, Breaking & Entering, and gambling were some of the lessons learned. News of a reploid hanging around the orphanage brought police action on Hannibal, who was taken away from his little masters, and was forcefully enlisted in the Maverick Hunters.

The lessons learned were much more serious than the childish pranks he was used to; Close Quarter Combat, demolition training, and firearms training were the first of a long list of lessons programed into his neural network. Hannibals first maverick kill left him with a vague sense of pleasure and that soon grew to desire. Mavericks were no longer just killed; they were tortured to the brink of insanity and were killed days later. After awhile, Hannibal needed a new outlet for violence and he found himself anew with explosives. When Hannibal tested a new biological weapon while on patrol and killed a few dozen innocent bystanders, he was sentenced to be dismantled.

Hannibal decided that after working so hard for the Maverick Hunters, they were no longer of any use to him. He blasted his way off the base and hid for many months within the nearby city. The Maverick Hunters reaction to this was to place a sizable bounty on Hannibals head and place him on their Most Wanted list. In desperate need of cash and a place to hang his plasma cannon, Hannibal came upon a billboard, advertising good pay, travel, and retirement benefits. The SG on the lower left hand corner wasnt really on Hannibals mind at the time, but the deal sounded pretty good to him. Anything had to be better than wandering the streets and waiting for the Maverick Hunters to pick him up.

As an ancient philosopher lost to antiquity once said... "Only time will tell how it all ends."
