Willow wrapped her arms around herself as she patrolled the mean streets of Sunnydale. She still couldnt help feeling as if hed stumbled into one of her nightmares and had never been able to wake up. This was real though. . .and that was the real nightmare.

Buffy was dead. It was as simple as that. One week ago,Buffy Anne Summers had died saving the world. Rationally, Willow knew that this day would come, but shed always hoped that Buffy would have more time. A new Slayer had been called and would be reporting to Sunnydale with her Watcher soon. Giles had been called back to England by the Watchers Council.

Apparently, after every Slayers death, her Watcher would have to give a full report to the council. Giles was flying back to England with Buffys. . .with Buffys body. Her headstone would be in a Sunnydale cemetery but her body would be in theSlayers Crypt in England. A special ceremony would be performed in her honor as she was laid to rest. Giles would then have to painstakingly record her the events of her death. For the council and for Buffy herself. His Slayer had made him promise torecord every detail of her final battle to help the other Slayers.

Willow had seen Giles off at the airport and had organized the Scoobies into patrolling shifts. Word of the Slayers demise had heated up demonic activity in Sunnydale. Anya and Xander would patrol just after sunset, the calmest time of the night. Willow and Spike divided up the later shift, each agreeing to take half of Sunnydale. Willow was powerful enough now, that she had little to fear from the demon population.

Willow was amazed at the depth of feeling the blond vampire had for Buffy. He had truly loved her. Hed become despondent after her death. The only thing he was unliving for now was killing demons and taking care of Dawn. Hed been living with the girl, offering her his solace and receiving some from her.

Willow rounded a corner and bumped into the object of her thoughts. Spike! she said, she put her hands on his shoulders to steady herself.. What are you doing here? This is my half of town. He cocked his head to one side as he looked at her, he seemed a little confused. Willow took in his bewildered look and brushed a hand across his cheek tentatively, trying to offer support. The poor vamp didnt know if he was coming or going. Are you alright?

Spikes lips curled into one of his familiar provocative smiles. He caught her hand as it was about to leave his face and squeezed it before he let go. Im fine, luv. Better than Ive been days, in fact.

Im glad, I was worried about you. She scrunched her nose up as she often did when she was thinking. Spike, would you like to go somewhere and, uh, have a drink? She didnt think he would except an offer to talk about his feelings for Buffy. But he needed to or hed probably lose it, just like he did after Drusilla left. Pretty soon hed be trying to get her to do a spell.

Spike got closer to her, invading her body space. A drink, eh? Now that you mention it, Im very thirsty. He licked his lips.

She rolled her eyes. Oh, please. Spare me the bad ass vampire routine, kay? Lets go to my place. Spike seemed stunned for a moment but nodded and followed right behind her.

*******

On the front stoop, Willow had issued Spike an invitation. The vampire had smiled so sweetly when she did, she felt bad that she had deinvited him from everyones house. Once inside, she poured Spike some bourbon from her fathers liquor cabinet and also got him a heated mug full of pigs blood. Shed bought some for him so he could drink it during Scooby meetings which were going to be held out her house until Giles returned. She poured a glass of orange juice for herself.

Spike early tossed back the bourbon and even poured himself more from the bottle but didnt touch the blood. He had sniffed it once when she set it down buthadnt touched it since. Willow looked at him curiously but said nothing. The whims of vampires!

Spike looked at her expectantly. She decided to first. So, Spike, is there anything youd like to talk about?

He frowned. No. Anything you want to talk about?

Damn, he was making this hard. Undaunted, she began again. I imagine this has been a rough week for you, huh?"

He laughed a little bit and shook his head. You wouldnt believe me if I told you, pet.

Try me.

Spikes eyes lazily ran over her from her fiery red hair to the tips of her brightly painted toe nails. Try you? Well, I never refuse a lady.

Bloody hell!

Willow had been staring at Spike the whole time yet shehadnt seen his lips move. But she had distinctly heard his voice. What the hell. . .?

Red! Get out of there. . . Now! Willows head whipped around to see a Spike standing at the window, hands pressed up against the glass. She turned back to Spikesitting at her familys dinner table. Two Spikes?

Willow backed away from the grinning Spike standing inher kitchen. Now, you gave me an invitation. Youre not gonna back out now, are ya?

Get the hell away from her you bleedin wanker! Another Spike said from the doorway, a stake raised in his fist. This vampire held out his hand to here. Get overhere, Red, and stay behind me.

Now, the question was. . . could either of them be trusted? Willow new that she was strong enough to hold off both of them if need be. She just didnt want to use her power on someone she cared about right now. Since Buffys death shed been unfocused, if she were the slightest bit distracted the real Spike might be ashes in less than a minute.

The other Spike glared at his twin. The girl belongs to me. So, sod off! He smiled sardonically. Though you are a handsome bloke if I do say so myself. He vamped out then.

Willow shot a look at the recently arrived Spike. She just had a realization, he hadnt called her by her name. Whats my name?

Willow! He smiled. Good thinkin, luv. Always knew you were the smart one. Let me see. . .youre shaggin that Tara witch. Xander is your best friend. He tsked. Though why you bother with that git is beyond me.

Willow raised her hand and shot out a bolt of energy. Stay! she commanded and the other Spike was trapped behind an energy barrier. She walked up the edge of it and crossed her arms. Now, where did you come from?

His face smoothed back into his human features. You dont have to look at me so mean, luv. I wasnt going to kill you, just shag the living daylights out of you.

Spike came up behind Willow to glare at his counterpart who, from the look of things, was mentally stripping the young witch. Shes gay, you bleedin idiot. For the last time, tell us what the hell are you doing here and why you have my face.

Spike #2 winked at Willow. Gay, eh? Id say you just havent met the right vampire. Then he bestowed a derisive glance at his doppelganger. As for your question. . .why do you I have your face? Its you that has MY bleedin face. Im Spike, childe of Angelus. Killer of two Slayers. Who the hell are you?

Spike and Willow stared at each other, dumbfounded. Im calling the other Scoobies.

You do that, luv. Meanwhile, Im gonna drink some of that bourbon of yours.

They werent getting anywhere. Willow was normally acalm, sensible person but the limits of her formidable patience were being tested. Once again. . .where are you from? She put a single finger up to forestall the vampires habitual response. If you say Sunnydale one more time, Ill. . .Ill-

Turn him into a horned toad. Spike whispered, visibly suppressing a shudder. She gave him an incredulous look. The Big Bad was squeamish about a toad? He was indignant. What? One time, Drusilla and I were in a swamp and then-

Not helping, Spike. He crossed his arms, looking offended. Fine, he sniffed. But I heard you dont like frogs. They make you all twitchy and nervous.

She shook her head. Ill turn you into a toad. Willow said finally, shooting a fierce scowl at the uncooperative vampire. The caged Spike merely raised a black eyebrow, keeping his emotional state a mystery.

Anya stood up and walked over to Willows side. You have to really threaten him, Willow. She patted the witchs arm, making sure she had her full attention before imparting some demonic wisdom. She regarded their captive. You should tell us what we want to know. If you dont, Willow, whose a very powerful witch , will shrink your manhood. The vampires eyes widened, she had his full attention. Im talking really small. She held her fingertips an inch apart. Itll be the size of a gherkin she paused for maximum effect. if youre lucky. Thats right, Spike, no more shagging. Ever. Both Spikes mouths dropped open in abject horror.

The confined vampire cleared his throat and said with as much dignity as possible considering the circumstances. No need for that, pet. We can have a nice, friendly chat without the shrinking of my organs.

Willow beamed at Anya and pulled the ex-demon into a brief hug before she pulled a chair over to the barrier. Tell me when you arrived in Sunnydale.

The trapped vampire also sat down in a chair on his side of the room and regarded them all with predatory looks, silently evaluating which one of them hed kill first when he got released. With that cheerful mental image, he smirked before he opened his mouth to speak.

*******

An hour later, the only ones left awake were the two Spikes and Willow. Anya and Xander went home. Tara wasnt in town right now, she was visiting her family. Spike had brought Dawn over from the Summers house for the night. They hadnt allowed her to see who it was they had captured.

Willow mentally reviewed the information they had collected. The new Spike had arrived exactly one week ago, the night Buffy died. Obviously, hed been transported here through the gate Dawn had unwillingly opened with her blood. The vampire had been cunning enough to evade their tracking party. The Scoobies had been forced to hunt down all the demons that had escaped into their dimension.

Spike had immediately realized hed been sucked into a different Sunnydale and had laid low. Hed been at the Bronze feeding in the alleyway when an almost blinding bright light appeared. He said that hed been drawn to it and dropped the girl he was eating to get a closer look. By that time, it was too late, hed been taken into the gateways pull.

That had answered two questions. He was still bitey and from another dimension. The only important question that remained was what do with him. Opening the portals again was out of the question but killing a demon from another dimension was risky. It could possibly affect all the dimensions.

Willow was on the phone waiting for Giles to answer. A recorded voice answered instead. Your party is unable to be reached at this time. Press one to leave a voice mail for the occupant of room 213.

Willow pressed the number and spoke at the beep. Giles, this is Willow. Im sorry to bother you, I know that this a difficult time for you. But, we have a situation, another Spike showed up in Sunnydale and Im pretty sure he still has his bite. The situation is alright for now, I have him trapped behind an energy fence and he didnt harm any of us. We could really use your input. Give me a call, Im staying at my parents house. Willow hung up the phone. Spike?

Yes, pet? They both answered in unison.

This is too confusing. We need another name for you, er,him. Willow said, speaking to her Spike. How about William?

The captives eyes flashed with indignation. The names Spike, luv. I havent been William for over a century.

Then why did you tell us youre name was William the Bloody?

His jaw tightened. Because thats what some people still know me as. Angelus never liked to call me Spike.

Oh.. She turned to the other vampire. What were some of Harmonys nicknames for you? Let me think a minute. Blondie Bear. Ooh, I know! We could call you Timmy.

Blondie Bear? Timmy?!? The vampire seemed like he was about to explode.

Yeah, after the doll on Passions.

Passions?!

Its a soap opera. Her eyes danced with subdued laughter.

The imprisoned vampire regarded his twin with revulsion. "Youre a regular poof, arent you? Hanging out with humans, watching the shows on the telly that only chits should see. He sniffed the air. And have you been drinking pigs blood?

Spike placed his hands on Willows shoulders. You should get some sleep, Red. Ill keep an eye on him.

She tilted back her head to meet his eyes. Thanks. Im exhausted. Willow stood and waved her hand in the direction of the energy field, reinforcing it. She pulled Spike with her into the foyer. She looked up at him. Im sorry about teasing him like that. I couldnt help it, he made me so mad. I want to-thanks for helping us out. If it werent for you, I dont think I couldve made it through this week. On impulse she embraced him briefly, it was the first real physical contact shed had with the vampire since hed thrown her on her bed and tried to sire her. She placed a kiss on his cool cheek before she went to the stairs to go to bed.

*******

Spike heated up some blood in the Rosenbergs kitchen. He was unwilling to face himself just yet. He was still thrown by tonights events. Never a dull night in bloody Sunnyhell! He had a doppelganger in Sunnydale and Red had hugged and kissed him. What was the chit thinking? He wasnt a hero, he was the kind of male her mother had warned her about in hushed tones. Spike looked down. Or maybe not. Maybe he was chipped, helpless vampire sipping pigs blood from a dixie cup.

He scowled, time to get rid of these kind of thoughts.Spike sauntered into the room occupied by the confined vampire. He was curious about this other version of himself. What do you want? His double demanded.

Just a bit of information, mate. Tell me about yourself.

Why? So you can tell your little pets all about it? He made a face.

Spike was miffed. Hey, if you cant trust me, who can you trust?

Trust you? You helped them trap me. Spikes mouth abruptly twisted into a sly grin. This is starting to make sense now, I know why youre helping them. This is all about that little redhead, isnt it? Should have known. The vampire pulled a pack of cigarettes from his duster pocket and promptly lit up. If you want my advice, take her away from her friends. Shag her until all she thinks about is you. His eyes got a faraway look. Yeah, somewhere nice where you could lay her down and-

Enough! This has nothing to with Red. Spikes hands hook a little he reached for his own pack of smokes.

I should trust you? Well, dont lie to me. Its always about a woman with us, mate.

Spike quirked an eyebrow at the other vampire as sat down in a chair, preparing for a long story. Tell me about it.

I guess Ill start this little tale at the bleedin beginning. Spike idly blew a ring of smoke in the air. I was sired by Angelus in-

Angelus turned you?

He nodded. Back when I fancied myself a nancy boy poet. I ran into him one night, crying my soddin mortal eyes out.

Cecily?

Yeah. The other Spike smiled sheepishly. She was. . . well, you remember what that whole mess was like. His twin smiled knowingly. Anyway, Drusilla had asked her sire for a present. Shed been chattering away about a prince of her very own. I guess I was the first bloke that came by.

Spike shook his head and said softly. So, Dru didnt sire you. In this other vampires reality, Drusilla didnt have the powerful hold on him that a sire had on a child. That must have affected their relationship.

Wait a minute! He threw his head back and laughed. Drus your sire?

Yeah, so what? He said defensively.

She was beautiful, dont get me wrong. But she was as batty as a bedbug, mate.

Spike couldnt argue with either of those statements so he attempted to change the subject. Was? Shes dead in your reality?

Yep. By her own hand, too. Spike shook his head. Angelus, Dru, and Darla all went to this gypsy camp for a late night snack. They asked me to go but I knew better than to mess with em. Seems that Angelus saw this pretty young thing he just had to have. She ran from him though, ended up in a villagers house where he couldnt touch her. But did he leave at that? Course not. Kept going on and on about her and how much he wanted her blood. So, Darla and Dru went back for her and brought her to him as a bleedin birthday gift. He took another drag off his cigarette. Pissed off the local witch royally. She gave all three of em shiny souls for eating her granddaughter.

Spike was having a hard time imagining Drusilla and Darla being as guilt-ridden and angsty as the great poof. What happened then?

Angelus and Darla made this whole big dramatic exit speech about all the horrible things they did and how they deserved to die. Blah, blah, blah. Then, they kissed before they staked each other. He flicked an ash from his cigarette. Then, Dru walked out into the sun because Daddy was dead. She always did love that pillock. He sighed a bit, she wasnt all there in the sense department but she had been a beauty. Theyd had some wonderful times together feeding and shagging their way through London. He really didnt get the chance to know her all that well.

She was the best, mate. In my time, Angelus was the only one to get his soul back. While he was crying over spilled blood, the two of us went round the world together causing all sorts of hell to break loose.

Sounds like fun. Though having Angelus wouldnt have been that great. He was a bore sometimes, playing silly mind games with people instead of killing them. Besides, Spike liked being his own vampire, he hadnt answered to anyone since the night his sire staked himself.

That it was. Spike regarded his identical companion. What then? Said you killed two Slayers, too? The other Spike nodded. Me too. One in China, during the Boxer Rebellion and -

China? He shook his head. No, she died fighting a gang of vamps. I almost had the chit too. My first was in New York. He touched his duster lovingly. Took it from her, just like you did. He nodded to the other Spikes coat. The other was in Sunnydale.

Sunnydale? Was it. . .was it Buffy?

No. Some chit named Faith. Wasnt much of a fight really. Spike grinned, showing an even row of lethal white teeth She cursed a blue streak at me too and pounded the hell out of my face. I was black and blue for a week. Her blood was delicious though. He vamped out as he remembered the taste.

Spike felt a wave of relief roll over him. When did you kill her?

Killed her right after Mayor Wilkins Ascension as I recall. Can you believe the bloody mayor wanted to turn himself into a slithery snake? The other Spike shook his head, equally baffled. The Scoobies had told him tales of the Ascension. Anyway, both of the Slayers before her were killed before the mayor even got here. Fought The Master and won. Faith. . .Faith was mine though. She managed to rig up the soddin high school with explosives and lured the damn thing inside. There were bits of snake everywhere. After that battle she was so tired, hardly had the energy to fight with me.

Spike crossed his arms as he sat back in his chair. It was so strange to hear how his life could have gone. Just imagine what it must have been like to be his own vampire. The specter of Angel or Angelus not hanging over his head. He regarded his companion carefully. This Spike was more confident, more deadly than hed been before the chip.

The other Spike regarded his counterpart slyly. So, tell me all about the little redhead. Willow, right?

Leave her alone, mate. Shes not for you.

And just who is she for?

Spike stood up . I think we had enough chit-chat for tonight. He really didnt know who she was for. But it certainly couldnt be for a monster like him.

*******

Goodbye, Giles. Willow had gotten off the phone with the Watcher then next morning. He had advised her to keep this new Spike restrained until he got home. They would search for a ritual to send him back to his reality.

Giles had explained that the demons that they had killed were all from demon dimensions. There lives would only impact other demons in those dimensions. Spike was from an alternate of their reality. The effects might spill over into all the realities, kind of a cosmic game of dominos because things werent balanced.

Willow regarded the energy barrier with a critical eye. They needed a simpler solution. Something that wouldnt put a constant drain on her energy. Something that would make feeding the vampire easier. Maybe it was time to go the bathroom.

*******

Im not letting you truss me up like some soddin turkey!

Xander fastened the chains to the network of pipes above the shower in Giles apartment. He looked at the chipped vampire standing across the room and sighed. Does this bring back memories?

Shut your gob, brick layer.

You better not give me any lip or Ill tie you down right beside him.

Spike sauntered over to the young man. I dont think so, mate. What if I accidently let Spike go? He smiled. Could you really tell us apart? Hes got an invitation to your flat too. Itd be real easy for-

Alright, alright! Xander held up his hands in defeat.

Willow cleared her throat purposefully as she looked at the assembled Scoobies. Spike and I will take shifts staying with him. She eyed Xander and Anya. Spike was right. Always remember, he doesnt have a chip. Dont get anywhere near his mouth.

Fine, well leave his mouth alone. Anya said, she took Xanders hand. Lets go get some more fruit punch at the store, Im thirsty.

Me too. Spike said from the tub, leering at the mortals. Xander and Anya quickly shuffled out the door.

Spike, I can take first shift. Why dont you rest up before patrol? They agreed that they would alternate. Spike would patrol the whole town one night while she babysat the other Spike and vice versa.

I could use some shut eye. He shot a warning glance at his counterpart before he quit the room.

Willow trailed behind, catching his arms as he was about to ascend the stairs to Giles bedroom. Spike, Ive been meaning to ask you something.

What?

How did you happen to be by my house last night?

The vampire seemed to flinch under her gaze. His hands tugged at the duster as he spoke. Well, uh, I was just checking up on you. I. . . had a bad feeling, thats all.

Willow smiled. Thank you. She blushed a little.

Dont worry about it, Red. On impulse, he leaned down to kiss her cheek. It was warm and the skin was soft under his lips. He pulled back, expecting to see disgust or surprise. But she had blushed a deeper red. Interesting. With a nod to her, he quickly bounded up the stairs.

Willow was about to go to the kitchen to make some tea when the other vampire spoke up. Im really hungry, pet. Can I have someone to eat?

Ill get you a blood bag from the fridge.

Ugh, cold blood. His tone was laden with disgust. Then it became speculative and laced with innuendo. Why dont you come in here, luv? I can have a quick bite. I promise you that Id be very grateful. We could-

Ill heat it up for you. Willow said, cutting him off. She prepared them both a drink and returned baring a cup of tea and a cup of blood.

Spike lifted his shackled hands. Cant hold that, luv.

She reached over and loosened the restraints. Then she gestured with her hands and a stake hovered near his heart. You try anything funny and-

I get the picture, pet.

She sat down on the side of the tub, feet on the tile floor watching him carefully as he sucked the blood through the straw. For some reason, it was almost erotic to watch him suck the liquid. His enjoyment was obvious from the little sounds of pleasure he made as he drank. She averted her eyes and attempted to focus on her tea.

When he was finished she took it from him and rinsed it in the sink and then pulled his restraints tighter. She released the stake and sent it to the corner of the room where it clattered to the ground. He smirked but made no comment.

She found that she was curious about his world. Spike, have you ever seen me in that other Sunnydale? She was almost afraid to ask, wondering if Vamp Willow was roaming that world.

Nope. I would have remembered something as delicious as you, pet.

She rolled her eyes. We both know you were going to drain me, so dont lie. I was a meal.

He shook his head. You dont understand, do you? No vampire would want to kill you, pet. Youre irresistible to them. You give off this energy, power and purity. I just knew that youd make a wonderful vampire.

You wanted to sire me?

After I shagged you, yes.

She rolled her eyes. Im gay.

Im not. He waggled his eyebrows at her.

Despite herself, she laughed. And what you want is the only thing that matters?

Not at all, luv. I know that youre not immune to me. That means youre bisexual, not gay. He remembered his counterparts description of life with Drusilla. It sounded so wonderful to belong to as well as possess another vampire. Especially a beautiful vampire like Willow would be. If I turned you, you wouldnt regret it. Wed go around the world together. I would show you things that youve never seen before.

Willow shook her head in denial but that offer was tempting. Very tempting.

*******

Upstairs, Spike was also facing temptation. For some reason, the little witch was getting to him. Maybe it was that other Spikes feelings for her. Maybe it was the fact that hed entertained notions about her since hed seen her in that nightclub dancing with the Slayer. Fiery red hair, whipping around the perfect oval of her face. Drusilla had always been between them, though. Even that night when hed held her captive in the factory.

Then, hed been caught up in the Slayer but hed never forgotten the red head. This new Spike had just sparked his imagination about her again. When he'd become the Scoobies unwilling imformant on the Initative, he'd been tempted by her. Had some torrid fantasies, actually. But shed fallen in love with the other witch. Hed been angered but would be patient with her, vowing to wait around while she worked Tara out of her system. Thats when hed gone and fallen for the Slayer.

He rolled over on the bed, so he lay on his back. Spike imagined going downstairs and sneaking up behind her. Maybe shed be at her computer or reading a book on the couch. Hed kiss her neck as he trailed fingers down her spine. Then shed arch her neck and press back against him, giving him access to her breasts. Spike sighed as he unbuttoned his jeans and continued the fantasy with his hands as well as his mind. He hissed as he closed his fingers around his thick member. Willow he whispered to himself as he began to stroke himself. She filled up his senses. All he could smell was the sweet scent of her arousal. All he could hear were her breathy moans which urged him deeper inside her. All he could touch was her soft skin. All he could feel was the hot wetness which surrounded him. Willow. He cried softly to himself as his hips jerked reflexively. Willow.

Spike shifted restlessly in his cool porcelain prison. He could hear the muffled voices from the other side of the door. It was his other self and the red haired witch. They were discussing someone named Dawn.

Spike shook his head in annoyance, wondering what was wrong with this version of himself. He so obviously wanted the witch, why didnt he just take her? Spikes face broke into a wicked grin. Well, it was his loss then. Because hed take Willow right out from underneath his nose. And no one would be able to stop him.

* * * *

Spike entered the bathroom and looked down at his counterpart with loathing mixed with envy. Seeing this other Spike brought to mind his past and the kind of vampire he used to be. He remembered the clarity he used to have, the only thing that really mattered was the hunger. The feeling he got from the hunt and the kill. There was no nagging bit of conscience, no thought at all about his victim. Only blood. And his lust for it. The only other being hed ever cared for was Drusilla. But even his emotions for her were bound up in his need to be needed by someone. She was special to him in many ways but she had always been his doll, his possession. Something precious that he coddled when he felt like it. Other than Dru, Spike had been virtually carefree and so powerful.

Now, he cared for all the Scoobies, even droopy boy, Xander. He now had priorities other than his own needs and desires. Like Willow. He had longings for something that Spike knew he would never be able to quench.Like Willow.

What are you lookin at, mate?

Not a thing. Spike said averting his eyes and strolling over to lean against the wall.

The other Spike clanked his chains together. Ive had enough of this. These are starting to get uncomfortable.

Yeah, I remember.

This happened to you too? Spike asked incredulously. His twin merely nodded. He had previously thought that the witch was this Spikes objective. He wasnt so sure anymore. Maybe there was something else at work here. Spike #2's grin was sly, Why dont you tell me more about yourself, mate. Last night I did all the talkin.

Sod off! I dont feel like talking right now.

Spike sniffed the air knowingly. Willows scent had floated in with the other vampire. He could smell the perfume she wore, her potent blood, and a shimmer of magick in the air. Feel like shagging, dont you? I know you want her.

You dont know a thing! Spike snarled, game face coming into place. What the hell was wrong with him? Bad enough that hed had a thing for the Slayer. Now, her body was barely cold in the ground and he was lusting after her best friend. So much for true love and all that rot. So which feelings were real? The ones he had for the Slayer or the ones he had for Willow? Bugger.

Spike raised a scornful eyebrow. A new plan began to form. A much better plan. Oh, really? Look, mate, you can fool those humans out there with your goody two shoes act, but we both know what you really are. A demon. As a matter of fact, I can see it on your face right now. You might have the same packing but you arent human, got that? So stop trying to act like one, you pillock!

I know Im a demon. Spike said quietly, ashamed. For the first time, he could be honest with himself. . .and his other self. She deserves better than me. Im just a monster. The Slayer rejected him. No reason the beautiful witch wouldnt. Though, he bet shed try to let him down easy. She wouldnt punch his lights out.

Piffle. Spike made a disgusted noise. Youre telling me that a fiery, powerful witch wants. . .what? A boy? Some stupid sod like that Dander?

Xander.

Like it matters. No, she wants a demon! Someone who can stand up to her, someone who could be her equal, her mate.

She likes women. Spike said doubtfully. His other self was very convincing. Hmmm. . . .maybe it was possible, Willow could be his.

And thats a bad thing? Spike 2 smiled provocatively. But she also likes men,Ive seen the way she eyes us.

What are you getting out of this? Spike asked curiously.

I want her too. Together, we can have her.

I dont share.

I dont either, under normal circumstances. Not that well be sharing once I take her back to my dimension with me. Witch like that, she can probably whip up a spell and poof. . .were back in my Sunnyhell. Spike spread his hands, trying to look reasonable. Besides, who would you rather share with than yourself?

He had a bloody good point there. Once his other half helped him seduce Willow, he could cheerfully send him back where he came from. Willow would be his. Fine, lets do it. Well seduce Willow. She can be ours. Temporarily, ours. Then, shell be just mine.

Right, ours. Temporarily.

********

Willow stood on the other side of the door, listening with rapt attention to the vampires. Seducing her? What the hell? She fought the urge to open this door, let loose with her magick and let the dust fall where it may. Arrogant vampires! So typically male. And they all wondered why shed switched teams, as Anya put it. Spike 2, she understood. Being an evil vampire, his thoughts were pretty much. Blood. Shag. Smoke, etc.

But her Spike? Wait a second, her Spike? She shook her head to clear it, the Spike from this world knew better. Hed grown so much in the last year. His love for the Slayer had changed him. She was barely in the ground and he was planning to seduce her? He didnt even like her, though he had a fondness for her blood. This had to be some cruel demon joke or something. Well, she had a plan in store for both of them. They wanted to seduce her? Well, shed let them. Only theyd be dealing with Vamp Willow! She smirked as she walked over to the phone to call Anya. The ex-demon was going to help her get in touch with her other self.

Willow stared at her other self with an appraising eye. Vamp Willow was younger, her hair was longer, and she wore a little girl pout on her dark red lips. Anya had reluctantly agreed to help bring her here. The vampiress was currently imprisoned behind the same kind of barrier the other Spike had been. "Oh, its you again." Vamp Willow smiled seductively at her human counterpart. "Change your mind?"

"Good, you remember me."

"I just left."

"I guess it would seem that way to you. What was that about my mind? Oh, about being a vampire? Nope, I like being human. I do need a favor though."

"Short hair now." She tilted her head to the side, thinking. "Like it." Willow cleared her throat. "So? Tell me." Then, Vamp Willow crossed her arms over her chest and sighed dramatically as if listening to the proposition would be an extremely difficult and annoying task.

Willow took a very deep breath before she began her very long winded request. As she finished it, she smiled hesitantly. "Well?"

Vamp Willow gave the human her most salacious grin. "Mmm. . .Spike. Met him once, hes yummy. And I thought your world was no fun." She sighed dramatically once more. "Ill do it." She cast a critical eye towards Willows clothes. "But I dont want to wear pink, fuzzy things."

"Too bad, Spike likes me in pink fuzzy sweaters." Willow gave a small, secretive smile. Anya, who was watching the exchange with bemusement, looked at Willow with respect. Willow and Spike had a history, who knew? The vampire was sexy, nice ass too.

She wrinkled her nose. "He does?" Then, she rose one perfectly plucked eyebrow as she caught Willows drift. "Knew you could be bad."

Willow smiled at her twin. "You have no idea."

Spike stood at the foot of Buffys grave plot. He knew that the Slayer wasnt really buried there but it gave him her name to look at when he spoke. "I never really loved you, Slayer." He began to space, needing to move as he began to let everything out. "Dont get me wrong, I was bloody well obsessed for a while. Running around, collecting bits of stuff that was yours. Acted like one of those bleedin boy band groupies. Gettin all excited about your picture and what not Buts it was the kind of thing I felt for Cecily, it wasnt real. Not like what I felt for Dru. I liked the idea of you, forbidden fruit I guess. Put you on a bloody pedestal, I did. Look, but dont touch, yknow. Probably cause you belonged to my sire. With Red, its different. Shes mine, knew it for a long time. She just doesnt know it yet. Shell accept me, warts and all." Spike shuddered at the accidental toad reference. " She likes the darkness, it doesnt frighten her. Shes a part of me, felt it the first time I touched her."

Spike stopped then and reached out a hand to brush some dirt from the tombstone. "Doesnt mean that I wont honor my promise to you. Dawn is mine, Ill take care of her as long as she lives. Nibblet is almost like my own sister now. Dawn is safe with me, Ill protect her with my life. Dont you be worrying about that, or Willow either. Ill be good to both of my ladies." He stood up again. "Bye, Slayer. Rest in peace, you bloody well earned it." Spike lit up a smoke as he picked up his bag of weapons and made his way out of the graveyard. He felt free, released from his burdens. Spike had said his goodbyes and it was time to move on, time to find Willow.

*******

Willow surveyed her handiwork and grinned. Vamp Willow was wearing a pair of faded black jeans and a silver tank top, around her throat was a beaded choker. Willow had cut her hair so that it matched her own style, flowing in a riot of bright red curls. She had let the vamp keep her trademark dark makeup. "You look great." The two of them were sitting in Xanders bathroom.

The vampiress grin was wicked. "You too." In a flash, she was on her feet with Willow pressed against the wall. Her cool tongue slipped out to lick an icy path along Willow s exposed neck. "Time to be bad." Her fangs extended, eager to taste the rich blood of her other self when a rush of pain, exploding in her head staggered her.

"Hurts, doesnt it?" Willow said, not without some sympathy.

"What did you do?" The vampiress growled.

"Gave you a mental chip, so to speak." She opened a drawer in the small bathroom and produced a bloodied black t-shirt. "Spikes shirt, he got hurt by a Vlosh demon last night. I made a mental link of the synapses in your brain with a spell. That way you are non-bitey during your brief stay in Sunnydale." Vamp Willow scowled, she didnt understand exactly what a chip was but it hurt something fierce and she wasnt eager to repeat the experience. "You didnt think I d let you roam around, biting as you pleased, did you? Ill undo it right before you go home." Willow knew her vampire self couldnt be trusted so she had been forced to find a quick solution.

"Hungry." She said in a plaintive tone.

"How about some bagged blood?"

Vamp Willow rolled her eyes, she was hoping for an offer of witch blood. "Ill eat at home."

*******

Xander smiled as he walked in the door of his apartment, like he always did. He was coming home to the woman he loved and would one day marry. Sometimes, life could bring you the biggest joy as it brought you a tragedy. Xander was finally coming to terms with Buffys death. He now hoped that she would find peace in heaven with her mother. He loved both Summers women dearly and knew that they were reunited once more and it was a comfort to him. It seemed as if Buffys life was always a struggle here, he was glad that she wouldnt be forced to make painful decisions or fight terrible demons anymore. She deserved to be rewarded for her good works.

Shaking off his thoughts in typical Xander fashion, he affected an thick accent. "Lucy, Im home." He called. No answer. "Anya?"

"Xander." A soft voice said, he turned to see Willow emerge from the other room. She practically slunk in the room, hips swaying slowly.

"Uh, Wills, whatcha doin?"

"Nothing." She held out her arms to him. "Hug."

Xander frowned but moved forward and hugged his friend in a perfunctory manner. "Wheres Anya?"

"In the other room. " She moved closer to him, running a hand down his chest. "Im bored, Xander. Wanna make it go away?"

"Wills, what are you doing? We stopped this a long time ago. Im in love with-"

"Me. Always and always." She poked a cool finger in between the buttons on his shirt, grazing the soft hair on his chest. "Missed you."

"You did? Well, thats. . .uh, nice. Missed you too, because youre my friend. Yes, my very best friend. And friends dont touch engaged male friends in naughty ways." He pulled her hand from his chest and found it cool to the touch. Wait a second! That pouty statement, the skin tight clothes, and the sudden Xander-lust! "Youre a vampire!" He screamed out as he stepped back. "What did you do with Anya?"

"Nothing, Xander." Anyas voice said, she stepped out in the living room. "Im fine." She was followed by another redhead. Two of them? God, at this rate, there would be an annual Sunnydale bring your evil twin picnic. "Willow, whats going on?"

"Im going to teach the Spikes a little lesson." Willow said, smiling. She looked at Vamp Willow. "Ill do a spell to fix the cold problem."

"Okay, not gonna ask for that story cause that might be scary. And, plus, Spikes and Vamp Willows . . .eww." He looked at the vampire. "Why arent you biting?"

"Long story." The live and undead versions of his best friend answered.

Anya smiled. "Its a plan worthy of a vengeance demon." She beamed at Willow. "Im so proud. We needed to test her on you, thank you for participating." Then, she remembered Xanders colorful entrance. She narrowed her eyes. "Whos Lucy? And why does she want to know youre home?"

*******

Spike finished off the last VLosh demon with a blow to the neck with his battle ax. The buggers had attacked him last night in a huge group and now they were paying the price. He wiped the blade on the grass. Spike had refused to let Willow take the patrol because he knew the demons would be out in large numbers. It was far too dangerous to risk having her hurt by them.

"That was messy." Spike whirled to see his Red standing underneath a lamp post.

"What are you doing out here, luv? You could have been hurt."

"Lonely." She lowered her eyes from his intense gaze.

"You missed me, then?" Spike was flush with pleasure. Was she seeking him out now? This might be easier than he thought.

"Very much." Vamp Willow tried to look shy. "Are you done patrolling? We could have a drink and. . .I dont know. . talk?"

"Id like that, pet." Spike walked over and put an arm around her as he escorted her back to the Watchers place. Other world Spike, eat your bleedin heart out.

*******

Willow stood in Giles bedroom watching the two vampires walk in the apartment together. Shed given her vampire self an invite already. For some reason, she almost felt jealous. Jealous? She had Tara, didnt she? Shed taken on a goddess to save her. There was something about Spike though. She couldnt define it. But it was almost impossible to take her eyes off of him somehow.

Too bad that hed had eyes only for Buffy. His talk of seduction the other night had to have been a cruel joke. True, the other Spike wanted her, but not this Spike. No, he wanted only the Slayer. The blond haired, hazel-eyed, perfect Slayer. Not the silly red haired witch that he thought her to be.

Willow shook her head. She shouldnt think that way about Buffy. She loved Buffy. She had almost been a sister to her. Though, sometimes Willow identified with Dawn. She felt like the younger, awkward sister who would never measure up. Not that she didnt miss the Slayer. A part of her would always miss Buffy, but she wished her friend well in her new existence, knew that one day she would rejoin her.

But that still left the Spike problem. The vampire stirred up some feelings in her that she thought she had ceased to have for the male sex. Willow needed to know how she felt about Spike.

*******

Spike watched Willow sipping a cup of tea with obvious distaste. He had a mug of blood in his hand and her eyes kept straying to it. "Does this bother you, pet?" Odd, he got the impression that she didnt mind anymore.

"Yes." Vamp Willow was so unbelievably hungry. She shook her head. "No. Im distracted."

Spike was confused, normally his Red was a regular chatterbox. Tonight she was oddly quiet and childlike. It unnerved him, he enjoyed Willows cheerful conversation, the way her eyes would light up as she told him something funny. "Something wrong?"

"Hungry."

"Want a pizza? I like the crust and blood makes a good dipping sauce."

"Mmmm. . .dipping sauce." Her face changed as the hunger over took her.

"Willow?" He backed away in horror. No, someone had taken his Red from him. She was HIS, dammit! "Who did this to you?"

"What?" Vamp Willow eyes the half-eaten red liquid in the cup.

"Who did this to you? You were supposed to be mine. I was going to be your bleedin sire, the only one youd ever known."

"Spike!" Willow said from the stairwell."

"Willow?" Spike looked at the other redhead and he began to rapidly approach her. "I played a trick on you. I was angry that you and -"

Her words were cut off as his mouth descended. Spike crushed her against the wall as his mouth established his hunger and his claim on her. He broke away when she was nearly boneless. "Wow."

"Wow, indeed." Spike said smugly. He turned to look at her vampire counterpart. "Where did she come from?"

"This hell world that Anya created."

Spike was interested. "Tell me that story another time, pet." He looked at the replica with a more discriminating eye. "Shes a bit younger, isnt she?"

"Bored now." Vamp Willow intoned. "Didnt get to play either." She scowled at Spike fiercely. "Bad puppy."

"Send her home, pet. Im no ones bleedin puppy."

"You were my puppy."

"What?" Willow said. "You mentioned something about a puppy last time you were here."

Vamp Willow nodded. "Angel and Spike were my puppies for a while." She turned her head to the side. "The Master gave them both to me. But Spikey was bad one day so I punished him."

"Let me guess? I didnt survive it?"

"No. I was disappointed." In the distance, chains clinked together.

"I forgot about the other Spike." Willow said softly. Poor vamp hadnt eaten in a few hours because shed been busy with the vampiress.

"Hes chained up?" Vamp Willow could hardly contain her excitement. "Puppy!" She called excitedly.

Spike watched the vampiress make a bee line for the bathroom with a smirk. You wanted a Willow, mate? Well, youve got one now. He smiled at his flesh and blood Willow. At least he didnt get to kiss the real one yet.

"Bloody hell! What are you doing with that match, you crazy bint?" Came a cry from the other room.

Showing how far, her talents had really come, Willow put her hands in the air. "End the mental spell, put out the lights. Send the creature back to the darkness, back to the night. Three time three, the power of nine, send her back to her own place, her own time. So mote it be." A bolt of power issued from her hands and sought out the red vampiress. They ran into the other room in time to see her vanish in a haze of light.

"You didnt need Anya to do that?"

"No, I just didnt remember the spell that she had used."

They both looked at the chained Spike. He had a nasty burn on his chest, his black shirt hung in strips. He was pissed. "Who, the bleedin hell, was that bitch?"

"Me." Willow said sweetly. "Still wanna turn me?" Her lips twitched.

Spike 2 smirked. "If you were my childe, luv, Id be the one doing the discipline. But I guarantee youd enjoy it."

"Why dont you send him back home too?" Spike said, narrowing his eyes on his competition.

"Cant. Anya created that universe with a wish, she had a specific way to open a gate. I dont have one to his world."

Remembering her earlier anger, Willow crossed her arms over her chest. "By the way, you wanna tell me what all this seducing business is about?"

"Bugger." Both Spikes said.

Her Spike spoke up first. "We both want you, pet."

"Want me? Oh, to turn me, you mean."

"No, we both want you." Spike said.

Willow flushed a deep a crimson color. The two blond, immortal gorgeous creatures wanted her? "Im not d-desirable, though. Men hardly ever noticed me."

"Believe us, pet, youre noticeable." Spike said, brushing a stray strand of hair from her eyes.

The chained Spikes voice was a seductive purr. "Let us show you how much we want you."

"Sh-show me?" Willows mouth went dry.

"Show you." Spike intoned, as he pressed his body along her side. He didn't want to share but he would do anything to get her. Bloody hell, he was jealous of himself.

"I shouldnt. Tara and I-"

"Pet, she left you just as your best friend died. Not very caring, if you ask me. You've been through a lot lately. Let us give you pleasure, dont you want to feel good?"

The confined Spike smiled, seeing her resolve weaken further. "Dont you deserve some happiness? Just give in to us. I know you want to."

Goddess help her, she did want to. She wanted them both. Two versions of the same vampire, it was a heady offer. Goddess knows, one Spike was almost irresistible. But, two Spikes? She didnt stand a chance in hell. She would never get this opportunity again and she wasnt sure of what it would all mean. But she knew she had to do this or she might regret it always. Willow looked at them both before she said in a trembling voice. "Yes."
