| Snorkelling |
| Our Club caters for 3 levels of the BSAC Snorkel Diver Training Programme. Children are expected to be around 12 years old before embarking on the official Snorkel Diver Training Programme but younger children joining the Club should be able to swim 4 lengths unaided. 1. Basic Snorkel diver (takes about 3 pool sessions) 2. Snorkel Diver (takes about 5 pool sessions and 2 hours theory) This qualification is only awarded after a Theory and a Practical assesment 3. Ocean Snorkel Diver( a high qualification which includes more theory and at least 3 OpenWater dives.) Worksheets which help to reinforce the theory lessons ( SD4 and SD5) can be found here |
