ROC Team Functions
Advisor
(Team Adults)
Those
adults who review and comment on course objectives and doctrinal content;
adjunct teen trainer; mentor.
Assistant
to Confirmation Coordinator
The individual who makes a
year’s commitment to work with the Confirmation Coordinator as directed and
when necessary act in their behalf.
Greeter
Those persons who welcome the Confirmandi making
them “feel at home.”
Hospitality
Those
persons who setup
and cleanup snacks provided to the Confirmandi.
Liturgy
Planner
Those persons who assist
in the planning of Confirmation Liturgical functions, i.e., ROC Team
Commissioning, Rite of Acceptance, Adorations, Morning of Recollection, and
Confirmation.
Those teens who become a close, trusted, and experienced counselor or guide
to the Confirmandi.
Monitor
Those
teens that are responsible for interviewing the Confirmandi and reporting their
progress to the ROC Team.
Music
Selection/coordination
Those teens who
evaluate/recommend music that is played at ROC
Sessions and/or Liturgies.
Performer
(skits, etc)

Presenter
Those persons who make a
specific, scheduled doctrinal presentation and participate in any
question/answer session.
Presenter
Assistants
Those teens assigned to
work with the presenter by handling their presentation needs. This includes introducing
the presenter to the Confirmandi.
Small
Group Leaders
These teens are
facilitators, people who encourage discussion instead of doing all the talking
themselves. Although this usually is the most effective way to lead a group,
they should not simply be passive participants. They need to realize that they
are in charge. They are responsible to be sure the
group works well.
Teen
Coordinator
The
person who brings
into a common harmonious action or movement those ROC Team Teen members.
