Well since you reading this I guess you got this piece of shit tutorial.

Dont expect much, coz, heh there not much here. But if you total starter, you may get something from it.

This what here:

  • Intro...you reading it, tells what tools to get and where to get them
  • Tut 1 tells how to find a serial number using softice
  • Tut 2 is checking out where to patch using W32dasm so any serial will do
  • Tut3 is making the patch permanent using hiew
  • Tut 4 is making a permanent crack for it using a patcher

As you might have seen...the target is at top left of this page...so get it when you need it!!

Without the tools it hard to do anything and the three tools you really got to have for most tuts are:

  • A debugger...the one to get is softice.
  • A disassembler...get W32dasm.
  • A hexeditor...a bit of choice here, but I like Hiew.
