Madame x Dress
I made this dress to wear to a gallery opening where my "Madame X Quilt" was showing. Hopefully soon I will have a page for that quilt, which can be see in the alternate view. This was the second dress I made and I did not make a muslin toile. It was very frustrating since there was a very short period of time to work on it before the opening. This dress is based off of the dress that "Madame X" wears in her portrait painted by John Singer Sargent. If you are not familiar with this piece and it's history, I suggest googling it.
