Description:

          A tall tree with erect trunk. The leaves are trifoliate, hairy and elliptic. It has numerous greenish yellow flowers. The fruits are relatively large, rounded, and yellow when ripe. The seeds are large and surrounded by white, fluffy acid pulp.


Medicinal Values:
         
          Prepare a decoction of the roots.  Drink as tonic.  Prepare infusion of young leaves.  Drink as tea.

Description:

           A short tree containing an romantic an aromatic subtance. It has opposite leaves which are oblong and pointed at the tip. It has few white flowers and rounded green fruits containing numerous seeds.

Medicinal  Uses:

           Prepare a decoction by boiling 3-4 dried leaves or 5-6 fresh in the glass of water for 15 minutes. Drink � glass of the decoction every 3-4 hours. For children the dose  is reduced to 3 teaspoons every 3 hours.

Description:

           A very fast growing tree with widely spreading branches.  The small flowers are white usually in pairs or solitary.  The leaves are alternate, oblong, poimted and hairy.  the fruits are small, rounded, shiny and reddish when ripe.  They contain many small seeds embedded in its sweet pulp.

Medicinal  Uses:

           Prepare an infusion of 10 flowers in a glass of hot  water.  Drink to relieve you of abdominal spasm or pain.

Description:

            A herb with  leaves that are somewhat lanceolate, serrated and alternate.  The red, white or pink flowers are mostly found at the axils.  The fruit are hairy capsules which burst open when touched.

Medicinal Uses:

           Make an infusion of 5 to 6 flowers in �  glass of hot water.  Drink the infusion.

Description:

            A tree with leaves arranged alternately on the branches. The fruits are large, green and covered with large thorn like structures.  The seeds are numerous and are enclosed in a fleshy, aromatic, edible pulp.

Medicinal Values:

          Burn the leaves.  Use the ash to treat open wounds and skin ulcers.

Description:

             A many-branched, woody shrub. The leaves are oblong-ovate with pointed tips. Flowers maybe solitary or a cluster of several flowers in the axils of the leaves. The small green fruits turn red when ripe. The fruit has a very strong, biting pungent taste.

Medicinal Values:

             Mix with vinegar. Rub on the abdominal area.

Description:

          Coarse, erect non-branching annual herbs.  The wide leaves are elliptic, short petioled and hairy.  Flowers are white or pink or yellow.

Description:
