Description:

            A small tree with spiny branches.  The leaves are narrow oblong and aromatic.  It has white, fragrant flowers.  The fruits are small, round and green when young.  The fruits are covered with aromatic rind.

Medicinal Values:

           Cut fruit in to two.  Put a drop of the juice into the eye.

Description:

            A hairy herb with ascending reddish to purple branches.  Leaves are opposite with toothed margins.  The clusters of greenish flowers are sessile and crowded in the stalk.

Medicinal Values:

           Cut the stem. A milky white juice will come out.  Put one drop of this juice to the eye.  Use daily or twice daily unitl the symptoms disappear.

Description:

           An erect, branched and fleshy herb. The variegated leaves are heart-shaped and wit toothed margins. The purplish flowers are small and terminal.

Medicinal Values:

           Extract juice from leaves and put one or two drops of the extract to the affected eye.

Scientific Name:
                           Blumea balsamefera L.

Description:


           A coarse, erect, hairy, aromatic shrub. The leaves are broadly elongated and alternately arranged. Its yellow flowers are borne on much branched and leafy clusters.


Medicinal Values:

           Squeeze the young leaves to extract the juice. Drop directly (once a day) to the affected area.
