Peter Klimes is one of the best singer/songwriters that I personaly know. We've crossed paths for many years but never actually met untill 1994. While looking at the credits on his Forged In The Flame CD I noticed the name Rick Bysh. Many years ago I went to junior high school with Rick's little sister. I met Rick after graduating high school because he was dating a friend of mine. At the time he was part of a band known as Telex or something like that. I was blown away by his playing and he was the nicest guy you could meet. A few years later he was part of the band, along with Peter, that played for my friend Bret's wedding. I had taken pictures of the band and over the years they had been hidden away with the rest of my past. Years later after getting married and moving to Palmdale I met Mark Ebbert. Mark knew of our enjoyment of country music and invited us to hear a few friends of his and their band. The band was great. Mark introduced us to Peter then but I still didn't know I had seen him so many years ago. Go forward a few more years. Peter is now in a different band and playing at the Cocky Bull out in Victorville. Mark had asked him for a copy of his CD with all his original music on it. Peter had brought it and while mark was showing it to me I noticed the name Rick Bysh. I told him about the Rick Bysh I had known so long ago and wondered where he was and could this be him? Sure enough it was. Unfortunately Rick isn't with us any more. But Peter and I became friends and I dug out those old wedding pictures and found one with Peter and Rick up on stage and gave it to Peter. He's been through a hell of a lot over the years. Maybe that's why he writes such great music. He's out there playing again too. So if you ever get a chance to hear Peter live, DO IT! You'll hear one of the best and most unique.
