the 3500 delegates will assemble on August 7.

The United Steelworkers of America hold a constitutional convention every 2 years. The delegates to the convention are members elected from local unions in every cornor of both Canada and the United States. The convention sets direction and policy for our local unions and our leaders; the International Officers, the National Director for Canada, and 12 District Directors; to follow. The convention is an important democratic process to determine the direction of our union into the future.
