Biografías Musicales Irving Berlin Maestro de los Musicales

Nació en Mogilyov (actual Bielorrusia), el 11 de mayo de 1888 y murió en Nueva York (EE UU), el 22 de septiembre de 1989. En su centenaria vida llegó a escribir más de mil canciones, muchas de ellas de apabullante éxito en Norteamérica, país al que llegó de niño.
Entre el repertorio de canciones que escribió figuran títulos tan emblemáticos como «Blue Skies», «White Christmas» (quizás la más versionada en el siglo XX), «There's No Business Like Show Business», «Puttin' On The Ritz», «God Bless America», «Easter Parade» o «Lets Face The Music And Dance». Trabajó tanto para el cine como para Broadway.
