VAIO WARRANTIES

- Repair/Service Warranty
     * Unit is considered "In Warranty" if within 90 days of last Registered Repair. Exludes expired WO's, defaults and refusals.

Standard Warranty
    * Original warranty term for Desktops and notebooks is 1 year
     * a docking station purchased with a notebook may share the same warranty, but purchased separately has only a 90day term
     * Original term for Refurbished units is noly 90 days
     * Warranty period for VAIO branded accessories vary by product
     *
Service is allowed if within 15 months of Market Release Date or 3 months of Market Date or VAIO branded accessories.

Extended Warranty
     check unit information for a ServiceNet Extended warranty (if there is no ServiceNet claim, warm transfer call to 866-374-0134
- a warranty description with AAAA indicates an AON policy (customer must contact AON for service at 800-301-8723

- Out of Warranty
- Pay for Support (PFS) - 19.95 / issue with no guarantee of fix
- Refer customer to 3rd party extended warranty provider

- Receipt or Invoice from Dealer / Retailer
- Write Event ID at the TOP-CENTER of POP
- Fax POP to 239-768-7816
- Optional (create Action in CS3 and Assign to ZPOP)
TYPE=file management     SUBTYPE=POP Request
  leave the status as "requested" and the priority as "normal"
