Another birthday?...! This time it was Shasta’s turning 19 that caused us to go out and celebrate. We ate lunch at TGI Friday’s and were once again surprised and entertained by the staff singing. Not to mention we enjoyed the desserts. |
|
We started a new and unusual type of service project. One that serves mostly for saying “thank you” to the people who hosted us and put up with us throughout the week. This project is called “mugging”. |

At right, Kevin prepares some of the mugs filled with goodies and notes that we will give to the people we will “mug”.
Below, Mrs. Meeks and her daughter Katy Whitt get “mugged”. Once we give them the mugs, we also serenade them with “We Love You With The Love Of The Lord”.
On the lower right, yet even another celebration. Katy’s (25th) birthday comes tomorrow, and since we’re leaving then, we had cake and ice cream for all three birthday girls of the week—Katy, Robyn, and Shasta. |
