Here's probably one of my favorites for when I want a low maintenance dish handy.
First buy a roast, that's easy enough. However i recomend having a crock pot handy. If you don't have one they're cheap and worth it (as this recipie can provide at least 8 meals for 2 people)
Next with your roast, I recomend at least a 2-3 lb one, place it inside the crock pot. Add 2 cups of water.
Then on top of said roast add various spices. I suggest some garlic, diced onion, Mrs. Dash, and maybe even a little bit of good ol salt and pepper. Also put in a tiny bit of vinegar if you can to kinda break up the meat and let the tastes seep thru.
Once seasoned take one bottle of BBQ sauce, any flavor though I use Honey, and empty 3/4 to the whole thing into it.
Now that It's fully flavored let the roast sit 12-24 hours. Now honestly I recomend starting it noon the previous day, or sometime the previous night, and just forgetting about it till the next day when you're hungry. However if you wish to peek in time to time on it, lightly test it with a fork, which will also help season the insides.
By the time this is done the meat will be perfect for making roast sandwiches, or just roast with side dishes. Enjoy!
