It's a walk-a-thon, you know how those go. The coolest thign abotu this one though is that there are massive amoutns of corporate sponsorships (meaning free stuff/food for us) and then you can hang at the Spect. Tasks: Hand out water, cheer people on, run a booth. Nothing terribly exciting Time: 8-12 Location/Directions: Irvine Spectrum Center, Irvine , CA 92623 Number of people needed: Practically Infinite, let's say 25 Contact Information: (714) 293-1111 et. 301 Special needs/info: I'll warn you that it's fun to be in the area atthe time, but you won't get much out of it except a bunch of free stuff. October 11th - Walnut Manor Fall Festival Information: Help Senior Citizens take a break from the monotony of retirement Tasks: Guide around the elderly, run booths, have fun and learn a little about something called life. Time: 10-4 Location/Directions: Walnut Manor Number of people needed: 5 Special needs/info: SAT I/II Day October 18th & 19th - Diabetes Walk Information: Need massive help with set-up and coordinating it all Tasks: Tons of things, mostly hard labor. Did you know? this was the first year Loara KC forgot Dr. Peterson's birthday in 15 years! Dont' worry, the seniors covered it up and made sure our beloved Kiwanian felt loved. Did you know?
