Trust Me This Is Not The Last Page!!!!
Graduation

Parties and tears,
speeches and memories.

All soon to be in the past
just like their years here.
They've learned all they an
and lived to the fullest.

Now their old life is over
and their new life will begin.

Some will proceed to college,
others will enter jobs
and even more start a new life
with a new family.

No matter where they go
or what they do,
they will always remember
the time they spent
and they joy they had
at Prairie Heights.

The Moonlight Deepens

In the midnight hour,
moonlight watches,
sataring down from her perch.

Envious to a fault,
yet shining with beauty
as she spies upon
the two young lovers,
lost is a daydream.

A warm embrace
under a moonlight sky,
the night dawns clear
and the stars fall from the sky,
one for now,
one for the past
and thousands for all that is to come

Moonlight watches as the embrace
deepens and lengthens,
until it ends.

As the moon sets,
she wonders,
when will she see it again
and the moonlight deepens.
Hearts Memory

I wake with your name on my lips,
I can hear your voice
and taste your kiss.

Can this be happening?
Can this be real?
I know this was not a dream
and I pray it will last.

For now, we are going slow
but maybe, someday, we will be whole,
for now though I can still taste your kiss
and hear your voice,
deep and low,
carassing my heart.

So many feelings,
so many thoughts,
I want to make you happy
and be with you always
but for now I am content being here,
calm,
remembering your arms.

When will I see you next,
hold you in my arms?
I don't know and so I long for you
but I am kept company by your memory.
The Middle

Life has it's ups and downs
but I am stuck in the middle with you.
Oddly content with no where else to go,
I think I will stay.

The perfect peace of the day fills me,
it lightens my senses
and brightens the life around me.

I think now even if I could,
I would not go
but even as I say it,
I know it is not an option,
my heart would never let me go.

Away from here?
Away from you?
Never, not in a thousand lifetimes,
in a million loves still,
I would stay.

I lay here in perfect contentness,
perfect satisfaction,
stuck in the middle with you.
Gentle Emotion

I long for your arms
and your whisper in my ear.
Your soft breathe against my skin
and your lips agianst mine.

Your quiet low voice,
stirs emotions long since hidden,
I never want these moments to end
and cannot wait to see you again.

Deep breathes calm fears stirred by paranoa,
Will you leave like all the others?
No doubt in my mind remains that you will stay,
I know it in your voice and actions.

I know it in the little things
and I feel it in your kiss,
your embrace,
your warm,
calming,
hesitant,
gentle,
longing embrace.

I long for that embrace,
for your arms
and your soft warm breathe on my skin.
Revolving Rhymes

Rules that bend,
rules that bind,
all comes and goes
in do time.

Don't fret the worries
of yesterday,
choose your battles
and have your day.

The tides will change,
like the moon
and what was once anguish,
is gone so soon.

In the past,
in the night,
lost in the flight,
that changes so fast.

Choose your days,
save your fights,
wait for the way,
that will change your life.
