| Of course, after a major snow storm came the fun part--diggin out! Note the poor automobile on the right hand side! Man, is that owner going to have fun digging out! By the way, the campered truck next to it is the one and only KC Carter Jeepmobile! The stories we could tell about the goings-on in that vehicle are many but the one that stands out was the infamous Chicago Camper Caper. Next time you talk to KC, ask him about it! | |||||||||||||||||

| If you lived on the north side of the 87th barracks, this was a familiar view to you. The blue building was (how appropriate!) the dental clinic! The white building behind it was the base theater! (We saw the first Star Wars movie in that building!) | |||||||||||||||||

| And when it snowed, you had to clear the streets! But what to do with all that white stuff? You piled it in a host of 'mini-mountains' all over the base! Note the little flag attached to the hydrant. Such flags were necessary all over the base to identify any obstructions that might lay buried underneath the huge piles of snow! (Heck, if we recall properly, some folks had items on their cars so you could see them behind the snow mountains!) | |||||||||||||||||
