| Encounter: As is becoming tradition, we sold cokes and candy during Encounter last summer, and will do so again this summer. Bags: LOA girls sold LOA, CD, Kappa, and LCU "teacher bags" during the fall. |

| Habitat for Humanity House: LCU's big service project for its 50th year celebration including working together to help out a family in need! Trick or Canning- This yearly tradition for LOA and Kyodai benifits the community while allowing members to look goofy! Cleaning the Ronald McDonald House: This was a great way for pledges to bond! Dr.Robinson's New House: We're all ready for our awesome sponsor to get moved into the newly renovated church house! Helping Hutchinson Middle School: This year LOA has taken on a wonderful year long project of helping out a school in need once a month! It's been a blast and I know we all look forward to helping there again. |
| Get Busy Bash: A nice way to start the year off. So many new faces, so little time! Bowie Park Bash: We had tons of fun meeting new faces and being with our Kyodai brothers! Pool Party Mixer: Sweets and swimming...who wouldn't want to go? Mud-Wrestling Mixer: Mud bath anyone? Banana Splits and Games: Girls and free food make a GREAT mix! Halloween Party: What other time of year is it acceptable to dress up like your favorite celebrity or someone out of a kid's book while going door to door begging for canned food? All Girl's Club Spiritual Mixer: Sometimes you just need a little unity and time to grow together! Sleepover: What girl doesn't enjoy a sleep over every now and then? We will never forget that Oompa Loompa dance! |
| Green Lightening: Amy and Laura teamed up to put create an AWESOME show. We will never forget being mechanics with all our real-life car troubles that weekend! Plus, we won Spirit of Follies!!! |
| Meetings |
| Officers: Usually meet at 8:30 Thursday evenings to discuss any important upcoming events before we share them with the rest of the members. Meetings: Starting at 9:00, the rest of the members come in. Sometimes it takes us a little while to get settled down, but this is when we take care of "official club business." |
| Beauty Devo: Sarah decided to do a devo where we all got together for facials, manicures, pedicures, and of course, God! Monthly Combined Devos: The first Thursday of every month involved a joint LOA and Kyodai devo before our separate meetings. Meeting Devos: Every week our wonderful Chaplain and Vice Chaplain, Sarah and Debi, led club in a time of worship before meeting. Church on the Go: While this is always a Kyodai event, they alway invite their lovely LOA sisters to come along to support various small churches in the Great Plains. LOA & Kyodai Spiritual Retreat: Every fall we get together for a little R&R and a whole lot of fun as we work together and grow closer to God together. LOA Spiritual Retreat: This past Spring Sarah brought back the LOA spring spiritual retreat. It was a great time for all who were able to go. |
