HISTORY

My name is Pastor Nazareth Mfume. I have been a pastor for five years with a ministry called Holy Cross Ministry Fellowship.

My call to the ministry started in 1996. From 1996 to 2001 my family was ministering in many churches sharing, peace, Good News, visiting Faith Churches, Church of God, Baptists, Etc.

I became a pastor of a church which had experienced past troubles. I noticed that the church was down 30 members. Within two years time, by God's grace there were 75 individuals saved. There were 50 people healed, and God increased members to 90 people. Praise God!

I felt that my time was completed at that church, so I moved on, to continue my evangelistic ministry. We founded a ministry to reach the community in Rumphi called 'Living Victory Church' in 1999. Living Victory Church is a non-profit Christian mission organization. We are now New Hope Ministries in partnership with the New Hope Ministries in the UK.

We donate clothes to people, make Christmas bags for the needy, and have services
for those who want to be in God's presence. I have met many people through the years who are in need of help, and I have brought them home for a meal, shower,
money, and little food, and gave them my own clothes, and even the shoes on my feet.
This does not mean I have money--I have compassion. There are many people in this world who are in need, even in your own community. This is what Jesus did, and we must do the same.

My family and I have helped out churches, by filling in and doing worship services,
and helping churches who are in need of a pastor. Along with my wife, we have met individuals who are in need of counseling for salvation, deliverance and healing.
