Warning -- Folsom Thorns Are in Season!
Here are pictures of a few of the dreaded and notorious Folsom thorns I pulled out of my tires on Sunday afternoon August 25, 2002 after being off pavement for about 20 feet and unknowingly riding over a thorny area. These are nasty and can easily justify the cost of thorn stopper strips, liquid slime and extra-thick inner tubes. Fortunately none of these thorns resulted in a flat tire for me! I have all three preventative measures incorporated into my tires! |
