- There is one central figure, a heroine who tries to bring some type of order to all this chaos�However, she is not a Marvel Comics type heroine with magical superpowers. She is just a regular person with regular hopes and dreams�but with one small caveat: an undying love of wrestling, and when she fights the baddies she does it from the wrestling ring�she doesn't step through the ropes empty-handed, however� she does possess the ability of being a pretty darn good wrestler, this gift was passed down to her by her father�himself a former� Pro wrestler and promoter� who never made it big�But as she was growing up she vividly remembers his matches, his many victories�and defeats.. .She even remembers a few of the promotions that he worked for, sometimes playing the part of the heel, sometimes a jobber, many times just so that they would have enough money to pay the bills for that week.� She would ask him about this, but he being a man of few words would simply reply, 'Don't worry, honey, it's just the wrestling game, maybe they'll let me win next time."�She also remembers the promotions that he himself had tried to put together, this was during her teenage years, these cards usually taking place in small towns up and down the east coast, usually it was just a way for her dad to give work to other wrestlers, many just like himself, that would never come anywhere near anything like a� WWF contract��
So much of her quest now is just simply a homage to him, yes, she wants to hold belts and be a fighting champion (she's even held some of the Female Warriors belts) but her many opponents always seem to have other ideas, and she has engaged them in some very intense battles) but she continues to believe in the purity of her sport, therefore, many of her moves are of a strictly scientific nature, she considers herself a strategic minded,, submission move� type wrestler; but she can be pushed over the edge, and has been on occasion�Her set up maneuver is the Curtain Call, (a high flying dive off one of the ring's turnbuckles) then this will be followed by the ENCORE (a covering move where she hooks her opponent's leg to achieve the 3 count) if everything goes as planned. This is always her preferred path to victory even though she has a whole arsenal of holds and moves she can revert to if the situation calls for it....
THE SPELLBINDER'S LOOK AND COSTUMES: Her ring attire is usually� a� body-hugging, form fitting swimsuit(<picA<) but she sometimes will create her own costumes of various colors and styles, adding a� nice touch of gold and silver glitter� and embroidery to her ensembles... (*she�� also� wears variously colored wrist and arm bands, and even the occasional garter at times, but these are usually gifts from fans, so she does this more as a thank you to them, and she whimsically believes that they also bring her luck in the ring**) --- Some say she somewhat resembles a famous celebrity�but the Spellbinder will quickly point out that she is not a celebrity but a wrestler, with her objective being to win matches�The Spellbinder� is young and athletic, 5-5, 130 lbs. of American steel and sex appeal and is all about the world of wrestling. (For those who haven't seen her in action, think�of her as a cross between Misty Blue (in her prime) and Cindy Paradise (but not such a jobber as Cindy was�)
