A lot of the women that wrestle for Female Warriors all have show business and wrestling careers outside the ring,therefore to at least try to establish some type of order and minimize injury, the rules that the celebs/wrestlers in Female Warriors have all agreed to go by are based upon the basic tenets of Submission Wrestling. However,from time to time, tempers do flare and things do get out of hand, and fines are levied upon the rule breakers as warranted by the commissioner, who has the final say in all such matters. If two competitors request a no disqualification,no time limit match, the commissioner must approve it and usually does, but only if it is to take place in an Official Female Warrior ring. (battles in parking lots are not sanctioned by Female Warriors).... MATCH REGULATIONS (These regulations cover both single and tag competition) The celebs/wrestlers participating decide on the number of falls and the time limit of their matches. At this time, the matches in Female Warriors usually are scheduled for one fall, thirty minute time limits, but more recently, no time limit matches are popular because the celebs/wresters want a winner to be declared in the ring. Celebs/Wrestlers also may request that the match, if it is a time limit match, be watched and judged by a group of impartial judges, no more than a group of three(usually former celebrity wrestlers/lady pro wrestlers themselves) who at the matches conclusion will each fill out a secret ballot declaring who they think won the match. Celebs/Wrestlers also may request that the referee should declare a winner if the time limit expires. HOLDS: Basics: Joint Locks Joint Locks are allowed, however intentional breaking is Not. If you apply a lock as in a wrist-lock ankle lock, leg lock, presure is applied slowly as opposed to with a snap. The Opponent must be given time to submit...... Scissors Scissors squeezes are allowed in front-side position, not front to Back or Back to front unless agreed upon before the Match. With a Clear understanding of not applying direct Pressure on the Ribs with a thigh etc......This is to protect the Ribs from being Broken Note; Any slaming action that involves landing on or near the head is not allowed !!!! Choking Choking to the Larynx ( The front of the throat ) Is not allowed. Choking an opponent across the Arteries ( the Sides of the throat ) is allowed. No jerking on the Neck whatsoever etc. Leg Scissors, Triangle Chokes and all other choking movements are to applied SLOWLY!!!!! Notes: If your opponent goes limp while a choke is being applied ( i.e. getting Choked Out ) advise the Referee Immediately !!!! If the Referee believes there is no defense being put up and the Limpness is not a strategic ploy ,the Ref will award a single submission Loss for that round, if the match is scheduled for only one round, the match is over. CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES If the Challenger wins, a rematch will be given to the former Champion at the next defense of that title. If a champion does not show up to defend a title(whether it be because they are shooting a movie, television series, or in the recording studio) they will lose the title & a tournament of some kind will be held for the vacant Title etc. The former Champion will be given a shot with the winner of that tournament . If the former Champion declines then the Tournament winner will be crowned the New Female Warrior's Champion.In the event the rematch results in a win by the former champion, then a 3rd & final match will be set to decide the champion.
