Tell Me A Little About Yourself.
I'm a Senior at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. For the past few years, I have been educated with the skills and knowledge that will help me pursue a technical career. My expected graduation date is May 2005. I am currently a Lab Manager for a mid size optical in southwest Houston. Upon my completion at the university, I am looking for a permanent position in the technical field that will help me establish more of my abilities and skills.
How has your education prepared you for a career in your field of study?
With the education that has been provided for me, I have learned many valuable skills that will help me be a more well-rounded individual. I feel that the education has prepared me enough for the technical industry.
Have you learned any technical skills with your current employment position?
The skills that I have acquired from the optical field will help me establish myself as a better employee. The creation of optical lenses and the designs of optical principle will help me be more understanding to many different situations.
Why would you be an asset to our company?
I will be an asset to your company because I work well in a team environment as well as individually. I am a quick learner and I work well under pressure. I feel that I can contribute to a company with my dedication and efforts.
Where do you want to be in 5 years?
I would like to be in a position that would help me establish myself as a valuable employee to a company. I would like to be in a higher management position that would also help me further my education and skills. In five years, I would like people to look at me with respect and reliability.
If we hire you, what can you contribute to our company?
If I am hired, I can contribute many things. First, I can give you loyalty and dedication. I will be able to contribute my time to make sure all the neccessary work is completed. Second, I would also help maintain any computer problems ranging from hardware to internal software. With my technical skills, my contributions would be massive.
