Kings or Lords recieve a amount of gold to a castle fund. They can only use the castle fund to build their empire. They are able to take 10% of the gold out for personal gold once per session. They start out with 10000 gold total in the castle fund.
Everyone else has a total of 3000 gold is his or her's castle fund. However, they do not have the ability to take out their gold. Only thieves and bandits are able to do so, but that is saved for later. They have the ability to build a house or so and determine how much land they can carry. All features come with a bed.

Everyone wants the best castle to conquer the world. The only problem is that when you build your house or castle, you aren't able to buy that much. However, stronger castles do have stronger advantages. Below are objects and castle types with prices to them.
WOOD: Wood castles are the cheapest and most efficient way to get a castle quick. It has no add ons to it and it has a -2 to all rows defending against fire arrows. It costs 1000 gold to build one. It also gets a -2 if opponent uses a battery ram or catapult against it. Men however can attack it and it has an hp of 1000. Men cant attack the others.
Mud: Mud hardens quick and can be a barrier to most enemies. It does not have a disadvantage against any arrow type or battery rams, but it gets a -2 against a catapult. It cost 2000 gold to build one.
Stone: Stone is reliable and well built. It adds a +2 to all rows defending against fire arrows. It also adds a +1 to all rows defending against grappling hook rows. However, catapults and battery rams gets no add ons or subtracts. It cost 3000 gold to build one.
Cement: It is one of the strongest one to defend with. It adds +2 to all rows defending against grappling hooks, fire arrows, arrows, and battery rams rolls. However, catapults gets nothing. It cost 4000 gold to build one.
Metal: It is the top of the line. It adds 2 to all rows rolled in the castle. It costs 5000 gold to build one.
Moat: It actually prevents opponents from using grappling hooks on you. All add ons with catapults are canceled here with no add ons. It costs 2000 gold to build. Battery rams are also limited to the front.
Watch Towers or Guard Towers: It allows all your archers to have a +2 to all your arrow rolls against the attackers. It also adds 3 to your surprise rolls. However, successful sleep spells to the archers or guards will cancel the add ons. Each tower costs 500 gold and you can purchase 4 to build wood ones or 1000 gold to build stone ones.
Trenches: It adds 2 to all rows against arrow attacks. It also adds a bonus if opponents are using any moving machine and battery ram rolls. If they charge across the battlefield to the castle, they roll once for every machine and battery ram that they have at beginning of combat. If they roll above a 10, each roll above a 10 means the machines and/or the battery ram makes it to their spots and they can set up and fire. If below a 10, each below 10 are unsuccessful in their charge and gets caught and stuck in the trenches until the battle are over. You can only purchase one per castle and it cant be moved. It costs 3000 gold to build.
Pits: It adds 2 to all rows against charging attacks. It also adds a bonus. You roll once at beginning of combat. Any rolls above a 10 means that they are still charging to the walls. Any rolls below means they are trapped in the pits and remain there til the battle is over. It can only be built once per castle and you cant move it. It costs 3000 gold to build.
Spikes: You can only purchase it if you have the pit and it just means that anyone caught in the pit gets killed instead of being trapped.
Note: Charging attack: All your soldiers and men gets a charging attack at beginning of combat to use. They have to choose to charge or walk. If they walk, -5 to all pit rolls against you. If they run, all successful charges adds 5 to all your attack rolls and grappling hook rolls during that charge.
