Walking on the brick pavements of California was soothing, very calming. It was my day off from the busy days at the Medical City of California and I�ve decided to take a long walk on the streets of Antioch and give myself a little break from giving guidelines on recovery, since it was my job to help people recover from trauma, stress and the effects of being paralyzed. On my way back home, I�ve spotted what seemed to be a party down at the front porch of my neighbor�s residence. It spelled: Class 2012 Grand Reunion, and it hit me, square on the head. A reunion, why not give it a try? I certainly think it was years ago when I paid my old peers a little visit. The next morning, I decided to organize it starting with making contact with Ulah, she was down in Italy in her restaurant. Still cooking and heating up taste buds like in our old days. I traveled to Italy and arrived at her prestigious restaurant on the outskirts of town. When I came in, I immediately smelled the fragrance of mouthwatering cakes and pastries and not to mention the good smelling dishes she always loved to prepare. She greeted me with her dashing smile and offered me a full course meal. I proposed my offer and she happily obliged. We�ve chose Philippines as a more practical place. After talking to Ulah about the reunion I contacted Shaun for our venue, since he was one of the most influential men in the Philippines and he also owns the most expensive hotels in Asia. I gave him a ring and he agreed to the thought. The next morning I visited my sisters in school Leah and Clio in their large bank in Japan, they became successful accountants and decided to open up their very own bank which was known for its zero bankruptcy. They both gave me a warm welcome and resorted to the matters at hand. So I guess I would be seeing them on the 12th of June. While in Japan I also visited Rachel, the owner of the world�s largest cosplay shops and one of the most amazing as a matter of fact. She also said yes to the reunion, so as Kim who was in partnership with Rachel�s shop for she was one of the world�s most well-known fashion designers. She was also coming with her lover Shaun. I felt so excited because I�m getting the gang back together. I proceeded next to Korea to make an appointment with Hannah and Jay who were both partners in business. They both are the managers and concert promoters of famous Korean pop stars. I was glad to know that they were looking forward to the event. I also made a stop in Oxford, London where my other peers are, namely Alaiza, who was the head nurse in London Medical City and Andrea who was the star judge in X Factor. She was currently engaged to professional swimmer Kirk whom she said was coming as well who was currently practicing for the Australian Olympics While Alaiza was expected to be Mrs. Styles very soon. I think I could hear church bells ringing. Next stop was Canada, where Angeli and his boyfriend Greyson Chance was currently staying, with Angeli as the head doctor of her department. She also wanted to come. Back in Australia, famous sophisticated pianist Sophia and all around most respected critic Hector were also planning to join me and the others on the 12th of June. I made my way to Spain to invite renounced football coach Jj and number one engineer in the world Gian for the special event and surprisingly they agreed. Especially Jj who was planning a special something for Marie, who was a very magnificent architect living in Hollywood designing houses for the sons and daughters of Tom Cruise. I also went to Venice and found Nicolle, the first Filipino top model who was as far as I can tell, Celtic�s MVP player Paul�s girlfriend. Without certain hesitation they both said they were coming. New York was my next destination were I was greeted by famous chess player Karl along with his friend Ernest who was teaching Social Studies and now called Professor in Harvard University. Along with them was Nychelle who in fact was also a teacher in Harvard. My best friend Shaina was the head of the Psychology Department in Seattle. Where she cured almost all her patients and was well known all over the world for that wicked ability. My last stop was my home, Philippines where some of my old classmates stayed but their standards were world-class. On my way to Philippines I rode a certain plane which was owned by Maquiling Airlines. So I made contact with Kryshna and I was over joyed to know she would be there. While watching television in my hotel room I noticed the host of the show; Late Nights with Reed. My mouth was half agape when I realized it was my old classmate Reed. I gave his manager a call and he was going too. The next morning I went to Philippines Studios where I met Riza who was the award winning Filipino novelist. With her was Theo the professional graffiti artist (who was hired all over the world for his amazing talent) and Wendon the high class Filipino actor. So eleven years had passed and here we are standing in front of our old classroom. Where we shared awesome times, funny occasions and unforgettable memories. We interacted like we were still sophomores, just letting loose and having fun. We all may be apart but we know in our hearts and souls that we are as only strong as we are united but weak when divided. I woke up at the sound of my rooster alarm clock. I rose from my bed and readied myself for school. Walking outside my home smiling, knowing that time may keep us apart but our best stories live in us forever. |
