MODERATOR:

Welcome everybody to the Brittney Irvin live chat!

MODERATOR:

Alright everybody, here's Brittney!

Brittney Irvin:

Hello everybody!

LaurenS:

What is your favorite episode from first season, which was the most fun for you to film??

Brittney Irvin:

I really liked the skiing episode, Father Figure.

Brittney Irvin:

I liked it because I never skied before and it was fun dressing up as another person.

Danielle:

How long does it usually take to film one episode?

Brittney Irvin:

It takes 8 days to film another episode.

Kelly25:

who has had the most influence on your acting career?

Brittney Irvin:

After seeing my first musical, Phantom of the Opera, I wanted to get into acting. I got my start doing Showboat on stage.

jjj_nik:

Are you anything like your character Nan?

Brittney Irvin:

I'm a lot like my character because I'm independent and I stand up for myself and I enjoy playing pranks as well.

lizzytish:

Brittney, what is it like being one of the only girls on the show and working with all the boys

Brittney Irvin:

It's cool, and we have a lot of fun.

Little Mary:

How old were you when you started acting?

Brittney Irvin:

I was 10.

lizzytish:

who is the funnest person to act with on the show?

Brittney Irvin:

Dan Chameroy, who plays Laurie, is really funny, and we all have a hard time getting the scene done without laughing.

Brittney Irvin:

Is everyone looking forward to next season?

Brittney Irvin:

Sorry I have not responded to all your fan mail. I promise to get to all of them.

Kelly25:

Who is the one actor or actress you most want to work with?

Brittney Irvin:

Tom Hanks and Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.

Danielle:

how do you make yourself cry while acting?

Brittney Irvin:

I think about sad things that have happened to me, like my dog dying while I was in Toronto filming. Once I have the feeling there, I put myself in Nan's position.

Jonathan:

Have you been in any other TV series besides the "New Lease" episode of the "Outer Limits"?

Brittney Irvin:

I just did a guest starring role in the show Stargate. I play an alien.

Moiria5:

You are my favorite actress. Thanx for being on such a great show

Brittney Irvin:

Thank you, Moiria5 for your support!

Lorien:

Do you like stage work or film work better?

Brittney Irvin:

I like them both. I like stage because I am a singer and enjoy an audience. And I like film because you can really work on getting into character.

jjj_nik:

Do you have any siblings, and if so, are they involved in acting also?

Brittney Irvin:

I have one brother named Craig, who's 11. He has not started acting yet, but he's very into sports, and he is very supportive of me.

BreannaB:

If you could write a LM script, what would it be about?

Brittney Irvin:

I would write a story about animals, because I'm an animal freak.

jjj_nik:

Was it hard filming the kissing scene with Trevor?

Brittney Irvin:

No, but it was weird, because we are good friends.

Lorien:

Some of your lines are quite funny, is it hard to keep a straight face during filming?

Brittney Irvin:

Yes, especially when other people are laughing while telling me to keep a straight face.

Little Mary:

What is the most challenging aspect of playing Nan?

Brittney Irvin:

It's hard, because there are so many sides to Nan. She's tough on one side, yet sweet on the other.

Jonathan:

Have you ever appeared in commercials?

Brittney Irvin:

I have appeared in 2 commercials, one for a board game, another for a Jurassic Park video game.

Brittney Irvin:

I put a frog on someone and also all the kids get water guns out and soak everyone.

JCK:

Do you like working in a "period" show?

Brittney Irvin:

Yes, I love working in a period show. Even my room is very period. One problem is we tend to say words like "cool" and awesome when we're not supposed to.

Kelly25:

Since you are so busy with LM , do you ever get any time to yourself to do things you enjoy?

Brittney Irvin:

Of course. And I make sure I find the time to be with family and friends.

Kelly25:

If you were to make a movie or be in a movie what would you want it to be about?

Brittney Irvin:

Yes. I just learned how to snowboard this year.

Mt19:

Do you wish you lived in the past, or do you prefer present-day?

Brittney Irvin:

I'd love living in the past because it's much simpler and I just love the Victorian era. But living in the present is still really cool.

jjj_nik:

Do you know if there'll be any chats with the other actors?

Brittney Irvin:

Yes. Trevor and Spencer are up next.

Little Mary:

How do you like wearing dresses all the time even on hot days?
