·        Attention: Turn off the power before unlade the battery, otherwise the previous setting should input again.

 

 

 

IV                    Battery charging

 

·        The new li-ion battery have not full charged, please charge the battery over 12 hours before using it.

·        After adaptor connect the power, the power indicator on adaptor will show “orange” color, it means the power good connect.

·        Connect the charger adaptor with the charger (same as above picture), the power indicator on the charger will show “red” color.

·        Let touch terminal of the battery aim at the charger terminal and lock it on the charger, at the moment the charging indicator will show as below:

When the indicator show “red” color, that means the battery power not enough the charge in the charging state.

When the indicator show “orange” color, that means the battery power was charged 60%.

When the indicator show “green” color, that means the battery was fulled.

All the charging time need near about 7-8 hours.

V                     Installation of Outdoor Antenna:

 

  1. Install Outdoors Antenna:

Installation of the outdoor antenna is very important for communication range and quality. Be sure to follow the following steps.

 

 

 

  1. Use the wrench to screw the antenna tightly as Figure 1.

 

 

  1. Lock the 6 ground planes with the base part as illustrated in Figure 2.

Note: Long and short ground planes should be alternately arranged.

 

 

 

  1. Install cable as Figure 3.

 

 

  1. Find a pole that is over 5m long and 22-39mm in diameter and screw it with the base tube as indicated in Figure 4.

 

 

Notice: Which pole connect with the antenna is better not use in metallic, if must be please pay attention to installation.

 

  1. Put up the pole and make a loop with the cable cord. The loop that is 15cm in diameter to prevent water from going down into the base unit as Figure 5.

 

 

  1. The assembled outdoor antenna as indicated in Figure 6.

 

 

   G: Note:

  1. Make sure that the cable is tied.
  2.  The ground plane should be at least 3 meters above the ground.
  3. No any metallic material in 3 meters of antenna around (as shown in follow Figure 7-9)
  4. Straighten the remaining cable.
  5. Bending cable cord will decrease the transmission power.
  6. Make a loop before pulling the cable into the house. The loop can prevent rain from going into the house.
  7. The higher the antenna is installed the better the communication will be.
  8. Keep the antenna and cable away from high-voltage sources to avoid electric shocks. Do not install the antenna in the rain to avoid thunder striking.

Base unit installation:

 

1)     Put the telephone cord plug into the telephone jack, the extension jack is used for extension phone.

2)      Put the antenna plug into antenna jack then screw down.

3)     The adaptor of 15v is connection with AC power, and another side should be plugged into the power jack of the main base station.

 When you hear  “di” sound, it shows the base is turned on in the standby state.

1. Turn on the power:

Clip the battery into the handset and hear a “di” sound that means good connect with power. From off state press power Key  “----“ and release the key when hear a “di” sound, then the screen will displays the model number and battery indicator. ID No. of handset time etc.

From standby mode handset can answer and make call.

 

2. Turn off the power:

From standby mode, hold the power key  “---” till the screen displays blank with “di” indicator means the power off, but here the clock is in working

 

3. Make call:

When the handset from standby state, enter the number you wish to call, then press [ ] key, handset will transmit to the number you input and display  end?” and [ ] talking indicator ( clock in time) you can talk when the other side answer. Press [ ] to redial, when disconnect in transmitting state maybe that is due to the other remote base or handset use on line, or out-of-range

 

4. Redial:

 There are two ways operation:

1)     From standby mode, press the [---] two times then use [---] and [---] key to search the dialed number, press [ ] key to call to the selected number.

2)     From standby state, press [---] key then the screen will show the last number you dialed, then use [---] and [---] key to search the dialed number. Press [ ] key to call to the selected number.

 

5. Answering calls: 

When a call come from base or out line, the handset will get ringing and displays  “ Phone call”, if your caller ID service is available. The LDC screen on handset will displays phone number, (when displays “Phone call” means the call from out line, “? Call means the call from which handset, “?” is ID number of handset, “*” means call from base unit), here press [ ] to answer the call, If any  key answer available, here press any key except [ ] key to take the incoming call.

 

6. Refuse the call

When you are not available to answer the incoming call, press [ ] key to stop ringing.

 

 

7. Clean the number:

Press [ ] key to erase the number of error typing, hold the number of error typing, hold the key to erase the entire number, press the key to erase the digital on the left.

 

8. Disconnecting call:

From talk mode, press [ ] key to end the call. The screen will displays  “close” and the handset will turn to the standby state.

 

9. Intercom (Paging the base from handset):

Press, “CALL”+”*” from standby state, the handset will displays “Intercom” means establish the intercom. Hold the key to keep in calling.

 

10. Call waiting/receiving a second call:

During the communication there is another call coming, here press [---] key to allow you to place the first call on hold and answer the second call, the screen will displays “Phone”. Press [ ] key again to return to the first call.

 

11. Talk volume adjust:

From talking state, press “--- and “---“ to adjust the talking volume.

 

12. Walkie-talkie between handsets:

1) Press “CALL” key then the screen will displays “Call?” here press the ID number of target handset to establish this function.

 

2) When the handsets displays “ Hear” the call will be on hold.

Meanwhile the target handset will get ringing and displays “H?” call” on screen. Press “---“ to answer the call. You continuously press any digital key to talk and release it to listen.

 

13. Transferring calls between handsets:

During a call in progress, you can press “---“ key first, then the screen will displays “Call?”

 

14. Transferring calls between handset and main-base:

During a call in progress you can press “CALL” key first, the screen displays “Call?”. Then press “*”, the screen will display “Call-*” (“*” means main-base) The handset will end after transferring the call.

The base unit will get ring and displays “Phone Call”.

(If the main-base does not answer the call within 30 seconds, the call will turn back to the original received handset) If the call not answer within 30 seconds, the main base station will be end the call automatic.

 

15. Inquired dialed number:

1) From standby mode, press the [---] key two times then use “---“ and “---“ key to search the dialed number, press “ “ key to call to the selected number. Press “---“ key to leave the menu, press “ “ turn to standby mode.

2) From standby state press “---“, then use “---“ and “—“ key to search the dialed number.

 

16. Inquire received number:

From standby mode, press the “—“ key then press “---“, and “---“ key till the screen displays “ Receive” here press “---“ key again then use “---“ and “—“ key to search the number received (The receiving time will displays on top of right), press “ “ key to call to the selected number.

 

17. Inquired missed number:

When you have calls missed the screen will display “nn Call missed” the “nn” means total how many-missed call.

The searching instructions have two ways operation:

1)     From standby state, press [ ] key then will show the new miss number, press [ ] key directly to call out.

2)     From standby mode, press the “---“ and ‘---“ key till the screen displays “Missed” here press “---“ again then use “—“ and “—“ key to search the number missed (The time of call coming will display on top of right), press “ “ key to call out.

 

18. Setting the phone book:

From standby mode, enter the phone number directly, then hold “---“ key till the screen display “Stone? Then press any digital number (0-9), then number will lock in this location. For example, if you want to lock the number 86-595-22889201 in location “2”, please press 865952289201, then press “2” to lock the number into number 2 location.

 

 

19. Take out the number from phone book:

From standby mode, press the “—“ key then press “---“ and “---“ key till the screen displays “Phone book” here press “___” key again then use “---“ and “---“ key to search the to search the number you want in the phone book (On top of right will display “E:??” “??” means the location number of memory). Press “___” key to leave the menu.

 

 

20. Low battery alarm:

When the battery voltage too low, the battery indicator will less, it is remind the user to change another battery to avoid influence the normal work. When displays the indicator low battery, please do not use to talking, otherwise will disconnect while in communication.

 

 

Attention:

 

Please do not keep the battery in low state, since it will effect for the battery life. Charging the battery by special charger otherwise will cause to shorten the battery life and battery explodes.

 

21. Set Date & Time:

From standby mode, press 10 digital formats is

Xx (year) xx (month) xx (date) xx (hour) xx (minute), then press “___”, key, the screen will display “Menu?”, here press “#” key to set the current date and time for the handset.

For example if today is 2005-06-06,3:39pm, please you can enter the number as “0506061539”, + “___” + “#”

 

22. Set Alarm Time:

From standby mode, press 4 digital format is xx (hour) xx (minute), then press “___”, press “0” key when the screen displays “Menu?” then the screen will show “Alarm??:??” (“??:??” means alarm time you set.) For example if you want to set the alarm time on “15:39”, please enter the number “1539” + “___”+ “0”

 

 

23. Selecting Display mode:

From standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, and “---“ key till the screen displays “Screen” press “___” key to enter select mode, here use “---“, “---“ to select the display mode of you want. In addition, you can use another way to change the display mode: Press “___” key two times, then press “---“, “---“ key to change the display mode (the screen will display mode of you want). Press “___” to leave the menu, press “      “ key to turn to standby.

 

Note: you can use this way to check the date and ID number of the handset.

 

 

24. Pressing Beep off:

From standby mode, press [Menu] key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen displays “Beep” here press “___’ key and use “---“, “---“ key to select “Beep off” or Beep on”

 

 

25. Language Select:

 From standby state, press “__“ key then use “---“, “---“ until displays “LÍNGUA” (Portuguese), “LENGUA” (Spanish) or “LANGUAGE” (English), press “___” key to enter the language select mode, Inside have 3 languages, Arabic, Russian and English, now use “---“, “---“ to select “PORTUGUES”, “ESPANOL” or “ENGLISH”.

 

 

26. Monitor:

From the standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Monitor” here press “___” key to enter monitor state, (this function is for check whether have same frequency interference at the same time) here press any key to leave the state.

 

 

27. Any key to answer

From standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Any key” here press “___” and use “---“, “---“ key to select “Any key off” or “Any-key on”.

 

 

28. Inquire the last talking time:

From standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Last Time” here press “___” key then the screen will display the last talking time. For example, if the screen display “03:30” that means the last talking time is 3 minute and 30 seconds.

 

 

29. Keypad lock

There are two modes to lock the keypad as Manual/Automatic. From standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Keylock” here press “___” key to enter the change mode, use “---“, “---“ key to select, when the screen displays “auto” means you are select automatic mode, “Manual” means you are select keypad lock on manual model. (If you are select “Auto” mode, the keypad will lock if not any operation within 2 minutes; If the handset in “Manual” mode, press “___” key, then screen will display “Menu?” here press “*” to set keypad lock. (In the lock mode press any key will be void except “___” key) In the lock mode when call coming press any key still can answer.

When the handset in keypad lock state, press any key the screen will display “KEYLOCK”, if you want to leave the mode, just press “___” then screen will display “Press*” here press “*” to avoid the lock mode.

 

 

30. Alarm ON/OFF:

From standby mode, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Alarm” here press “___” key to enter the change mode, here use “---“, “---“ key to change. When the screen display “ALM ON ??:??”” ALM ON” means alarm setting on, “”??:??” means alarm time of you set, “ALM OFF” means alarm setting off. If the alarm clock in effect, when the handset is on standby, the alarm clock will ring automatically, the screen will display “alarm” and the light of background (flashing) press any key to stop ring, otherwise it will ring 1 minute then stop. When handset in off state, the alarm clock is in effect; the alarm clock will ring automatically also.

Note: This function can be use as automatic turn on function.

 

 

31. Pulse/Tone Select:

From standby state, press “___” then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Dialer” here press “___” key to enter the change mode, here use “---“, “---“ key to select dial mode “Tone” or “Pulse”. From pulse state, press “*”, pulse mode will change to tone mode.

 

 

32. Polyphonic ringing select:

From standby state, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Ring Tone” here press “___” key to enter the change mode, here use “---“, “---“ key to select, 15 melody for selection.

 

 

33. Ring volume adjust:

From standby state, press “___” key then press “---“, “---“ key till the screen display “Ring Vol” here press “___” key to enter the change mode, here use “---“, “---“ key to select the ringing volume (there are 4 levels for choose).

 

 

34. Long-distance Call Lock:

When the handset in off state, hold the No. “6” key and “----------“ power key together, the screen will displays “Locked” or “Unlocked”, when display “Locked” means lock long-distance in effect, now you can not make long-distance call. Repeat the above operation for change the mode.

 

 

35. Set the ID number for the handset:

When the handset in off state, hold the No. [1] key and “----------“ key together until the handset display “Code” here press the digitals “1384?”, the “?” means the ID number you want to set for the handset, the ID number can be set from 0-9. For example, if you want to set the handset on No.3, please doing as below:

a)     Hold “1” key and “-----------“ key till the screen display “Code

b)     Press “1384 3”, then the screen will displays “OK” and that means setting success.

 

 

36. Pin-Code:

a. When main-base off and the handset keep on the base, hold the [0] key and connect the power, release the key after hearing a string ringing and the screen displays “Load Code” now the base was get into pin-code state.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

b. The handset from off state, hold the No. [1] key and “----------“ power key together, release the key when the handset displays “Code”, here press “9703” to get into pin-code state: after few seconds the handset will got ringing and displays “OK” means pin-code success.

c. If you want to add more extra handsets, please repeat steps a and b. After successfully pin-code, please set the ID number for the handsets.

 

 

 

VIII Base Unit Operation:

 

1.Turning on

Let the base connect with the DC 15V then power indicator will be show and hear music sound. Let means the base unit was good connect the power and show the base unit is in standby state.

 

 

2.Make a Call:

Pick up the receiver or use the hands free, then dial the number that you want to call to outside. If the screen displays “Phone Lk” means the phone was locked.

 

You can dial the number in standby state, and use the “Del” key to clean the wrong number. Pick up the receiver or use the hands free after dial the number to call the number out.

 

 

3.Mute function:

During the communication state, holds the [Mute] key then the screen wills displays “__P—“ at the same time the communication will be intermit. Release the key to continue communication.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Three-way conversation

There is a call coming during the communication, press [FLASH] key on base unit to answer the call. The previous call will be hold on the line. Press [FLASH] to turn to talk with the previous call.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Coming call indicator

From intercom, state there is another call coming. The base unit will got ringing and the handset will hear a “du” sound indicator. Here press [____] key on the handset to received the call the screen will displays “Phone” it means the call form exterior line.

 

 

 

 

6. Miss call indicator

When have a miss call, the screen of the base unit will show the last number call in, at the same time on the right up corner will show how many miss call you have and “IN” means call in number, left side will show “NEW” means new miss number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Redial function

Pick up the receiver of the base unit or use the hands free, press [RD/P] key to call out the previous call.

 

 

 

8.Intercom from the base unit

Press [Call] key then press the NO. (0-9) when the screens displays “CALL?”. ( “0” means No. 10handsets)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9.Transfer call from the base to handsets

From talking state press [CALL] key and then press the ID number of the handset (0-9) when the screen displays “CALL?” The target handset will ringing and displays “Phone Call” here the handsets pres [---------] key to answer the call. If the handset not operation within 30 seconds the call will back to the base unit again.

 

 

 

10.Volume Control

During the communication state press [UP] or [Down] to control the volume, there are 10 levels to control.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

11. Memory

From standby state, press the number directly which you want to store, then hold the [SAVE] key until the screen displays “Store?”, press the ID number of location (0-9). For example if you want to store the number “86-595-22889201” in the location 5. As the operation please press the number “8659522889201” then hold [SAVE] key until displays “Store?” then press the No. [5].

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

12. Take out the number

From standby state, hold the [FALSH] key until the screen displays “Load”, press the location number (0-9) to get the number, here pick up the handset of the base unit or use the hands free to dial the number out.

 

 

 

13. First number limit-dial

 After get the dial tone, if the first number, which you dial, was limited, you will hear a “di” sound and the screen will displays “Phone lk”.

 

 

14. Urgency paging function:

When one handset want to call to another handset, but the target handset still not answer the call, during the paging state after 15 seconds the base unit got the “ du du du …..” alarm and after 5 seconds again the base unit and handsets will exit the paging state automatically.

 

15. Operator mode:

If the unit in the operator mode when a call coming only the base unit can got the ringing, the other handset will not ringing, but the base unit con transfer the call to any handsets.

 

16. Inquired the received number:

From standby state press [UP] key, screen will displays  “IN” on top of right, here use [UP] or [Down] to searching the received number. The screen will show receiving date and time and number of location. Here pick up the receiver of the base unit or use the hands free to dial the number out.

 

17.Inquired the dialed number:

From standby state press [RD/P] key. The screen will displays “OUT”

On top of right. Here use [Up] or [Down] to searching the dialed number. The screen will show dialed date and time and number of location. Here pick up the receiver of the base unit or use the handsfree to dial the number out.

 

18. Inquired the missed number:

From standby state press [Down] key, then screen will displays “IN” on top of right, here use [Up] or [Down] to searching the number of missed, the screen will displays the number as well as the call in date and time and number of location. Here pick up the receiver of the base unit or use the hands free to dial the number out.

 

19. Change the frequency for the base unit:

From the off state hold the No. [1] key and connect the power at the same time, when the base unit hear a “di” sound and displays “ Code” press input the code “*”#00” then the screen will displays “ok”, means the frequency will change at random).

Note: After change the frequency for the base unit must be pin-code again with the handset then just can be use.

 

20. LDC light adjust:

When the base unit in standby state, press “MUTE” key to adjust the light of LDC, there are 4 levels to select.

 

 

IX Set menu for base unit

When the base unit from standby state, press “MENU” key to enter the menu setting state, use “UP” or “DOWN” key to select the mode. Press “ MENU” key to enter the menu as below:

1. Date, time setting

2. Dial mode setting (Pulse/Tone)

3. First digital limit dialed

4. Limit dial number

5. Ringing selection

6. Ring volume select

7. Change code

8. Operator setting

 

  1. Date time week setting:

Press [MENU] key from standby state, the screen will displays “MENU?” here use the [Up] and [Down] to searching the displays on the screen until show as below: “ SET DATE”

 

Here press the [MENU] key again, use [UP] and {DOWN] key to confirm, same way to set the year/month/date/hour/minutes, After finished will show “OK”

 

These products with Caller ID function and collate the caller time and date

For this function in effect, the user must be set the Caller ID system in FSK have apply the Caller ID function in the local.

 

2. Dial mode setting

From standby state press “MENU” key to enter the menu, use “UP” or “DOWN” key select the setting mode, when the screen displays “SET2P_T”.

 

Press “MENU” key again to enter the setting, use “UP” or “DOWN” to select “Tone” or Pulse” then press “MENU” key to confirm again.

From pulse mode, press “*” key the dial mode will change to Tone.

 

3. Set ON/OFF the first digital limit dial

From standby sate press “MENU” key to enter the menu state, use “UP or DOWN” key to select the setting mode until displays: “SET 3 PHONLK”

 

Press “MENU” key again, then the screen will show “CODE” input 4 digital of the code. Then the screen will show “Locked” means setup the function of first digital limit dial.

 

When the screen displays “Unlock” means the function close up.

 

When the screen displays “Error” means the code error.

 

4. Set the number limit dial

When the base unit from standby state, press “ MENU” key to enter the setting mode, use “UP” or DOWN” key to select the menu until the screen displays “ SET 4 LCODE”

 

Press “ MENU” key again, the screen will show “ CODE” then input 4 digital code, after press the code the screen will displays “ PLEASE INPUT”

 

Input any digital/ number, which you want to limited dial (the number can input up to 11 digitals), press “ MENU” key when the screen displays “OK” means setting success. If the operation wrong or the number input over 11 digitals then the screen will displays “ Error”.

 

5. Select the ringing

From standby state press “MENU” key to enter the menu state, then use “ UP” and “DOWN” key to select the menu when displays “ SET 5 r- TONE”

 

Press “MENU” key the screen will displays “ Ring Tone?” (“?” Means type of the ring) at the same time the phone will ringing.

 

Use [UP] or [DOWN] to select, total there are 10 music to select.

 

6. Ring volume adjust

From standby state press “MENU” key to enter the menu state, use “UP” or “DOWN” key to select the menu, until displays  “SET 6 R-VOL”

 

Press “MENU” key the screen will displays “RING VOL?” (“?” means the volume level)

Use “UP” or  “DOWN” key to select, there are 4 level for select.

When the screen show “RING VOL A” means you already set in the mute function.

 

7. Set the code:

From standby state press “MENU” key to enter the menu state, then use “UP” or “DOWN” to select the menu, until displays “SET 7 COSE”

 

Press “MENU” key then the screen will show “CODE” after input the old code, the screen will show “INUT CODE”

 

Now input the new code you want, and then press “MENU” key again, the base unit will hear a “di” sound and displays “OK” means the new code setting success.

If the code which you input not 4 digital, the screen will displays “ Error”

The code set from the factory is “0000”

 

If the user forget the new code which they set before, they can use the operation of change the frequency for the base unit, then the code will be change to original one “0000”, but before use the handset and base unit must be pin-code again.

 

8. Set the operator function:

From standby state press “MENU” key to enter the menu state, use “UP” or “ DOWN” key to select the menu until the screen displays “ SET 8 OPERAT”

 

Press “ MENU” key then the screen will displays “ CODE” after input the code, the screen will displays “OPER ON” or “OPER OFF”

When displays “ OPER OFF” means the unit in the normal state, when displays “OPER ON” means the base unit in the operator state, when displays “Error” means the code input incorrect.

 

 

X Notice:

1. Our product has pin-code already, they can use after out of factory, only when the machine work in in normal (base unit and handset can not intercom duplex) please pin—code again.

2. From communication state, please do not shake the antenna of the handset and touch the head, otherwise it will influence the communication and talk effect.

 

XI Troubleshooting

 

If you have problem when operating your phone, please check the below suggestion.

A: The dial keypad not working

  1. Whether you have press the function keypad but have not exit.
  2.  As the wrong operation will cause the keypad void, please unlade the battery pack and lode it again.
  3. Whether the handset is on lock keypad state, press “MENU” the “*” to release the function. If the handset always lock keypad automatically, please set the lock keypad function off.

B: The phone dose not work.

  1. Check the installation
  2. Make sure the power cord of the base is plugged in handset was turn on.
  3. Is the handset battery fully charged?
  4. P/T (Pulse/Tone) selected if suitable for the lock telecommunication dial system.

 

C: Cannot receive the call

 

  1. Make sure the telephone cord is plugged in.
  2. Please check the installation of the roof antenna is correct.
  3. You may be in out of the communication range.

 

D: Interference, static or mute

 

  1. Whether your hand or other things have touched the handset antenna, have you try to move for other proper direction?
  2. Change the frequency for the main base unit, and Pin-code again.
  3. You may too far from the base again.
  4. The battery may recharge again.
  5. Have you try to change a location for the base unit?
  6. Is there any strong radio around?
  7. Whether the antenna of the handset was shake during the conversation or touch your head.

 

E: LDC displays error

 

  1. If the battery power not enough
  2. Please unlade the battery and lode it again after 10 seconds.

 

F: Base unit and handset cannot intercom duplex

 

  1. If same reason with D
  2. To Pin- code again

 

 

G: The handset cannot use

  1. The other handset or remote base using on line
  2. Use the phone in the mountain area or there are many tall buildings

 

H: Difficult to call to other handsets

  1. Wrong Id number setting for the handset
  2. Over the communication distance
  3. Whether setting the operator mode

 

I: Not “beep” sound when press the key

  1. Please check the menu if the “ beep off”

 

J: Cannot dial the number on the main base

1. Whether you set the first number lock on the main base.
