" Theodore F. Pearsall Fruit Importer Dies"
Theodore Frelinghuysen Pearsall, 72 years old of 94 Ft. Greene Pl., a retired New York Merchant and importer, long a resident of Brooklyn died on Sunday and the funeral services will be held at his late residence tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Harry Knight Miller, of the Hanson Pl. M. E. Church, officiating interrment will be in Green-Wood Cemetery. Mr. Pearsall was born in New York City and was the son of the late Treadwell and Sarah A. Pearsall.

He was educated at the Polytechnic Institute and as a young man was a member of the Old Excelsior baseball nine that played in the first yearly contests at the Parade Ground. The club was subsequently a social organization. Mr. Pearsall was a veteran of Company C, 23rd Regiment of Brooklyn, and was a life member of the Veterans' Association of that command. He was until the outbreak of the Spanish War the largest importer of bananas in New York, and a member of the old firm of Gomez & Pearsall. He is survived by a brother Louis T. Pearsall.
