PEARSALL Obituaries
Waite Pearsall
Wait Pearsall was born near Albany, N. Y., May 30, 1813, and died in Moravia, N. Y., Sept. 4, 1889. He came into the vicinity of Locke when quite young. Shortly after, he made a profession of religion and joined the Methodist Episcopal church. He has never been a consistent member, and for a number of years held the honored and responsible position of class leader.

For some years he lived in northern Pennsylvania, and there his home was a preaching place for the early itinerant. For twenty-seven years he was a member of the Summerhill church, and for the past five years a member of the Moravia church. His wife and five children survive him, all of whom were present at the funeral.

The services were held at the M. E. church, and the burial at the Quaker church cemetery, his pastor Rev. H. C. Moyer officiating.
