R. B. Pearsall, Groton, Dies
Ralph B. Pearsall, 67, of Groton, died late Wednesday, Apr. 8, 1953, in Cortland County Hospital, after a short illness.

Born in Moravia, Nov. 18, 1885, he was the son of the late Levi and Sarah Brigden Pearsall. He had been a resident of Groton for 35 years. He conducted a poultry business on his farm on the West Groton Rd. He was a member of Finger Lakes Egg Producers Coop Association Inc. and was secretary and treasurer of that organization for several years.

He was a member of the Groton Methodist Chuurch, holding office as trustee and church treasurer.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. F. Louise Pearsall of Groton; a daughter, Miss Ruth E. Pearsall of Cortland; a brother, Charles L. Pearsall of Locke; a sister, Miss S. Agnes Pearsall of Moravia, and a nephew, Robert L. Pearsall of Binghamton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Groton Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Praxler, pastor officiating.

Burial will be in Groton Rural Cemetery.

Friends may call at his home one mile West of Groton from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Ralph B. Pearsall, 67, of Groton, died late Wednesday night, April 8, 1953, in Cortland County Hospital following a short illness.

He was born in Moravia Nov 18, 1885, the son of Levi and Sarah Brigden Pearsall and had been a resident of Groton for 35 years. He was a prominent poultryman, which business he conducted on his farm on the West Groton road.

Mr. Pearsall was a member of the Finger Lakes Egg Producers Cooperative Association, Inc., and the secretary and treasurer of this organization for many years. He was a member of the Groton Methodist Church, holding the office of trustee for approximately 25 years and church treasurer for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. F. Louise Pearsall of Groton; one daughter, Miss Ruth Pearsall of Cortland; one brother, Charles L. Pearsall of Locke; one sister, Miss S. Agnes Pearsall of Moravia and one nephew, Robert L. Pearsall of Binghamton.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Rev. Kenneth Traxler officiated. Burial was in Groton Rural Cemetery.

The bearers were Frank Beebe, Kenneth Miller, Raymond Torrey, Harry Clapp and Clifford Ostrander of Groton and Harold Chamberlain of Peruville.

LEAVES $10,000 ESTATE
GROTON - Ralph B. Pearsall of the town of Groton, who died April 8, left an estate valued at more than $5,000 in personal property and the same in real property. The will has been admitted to probate in Surrogate's Court. It stipulates that F. Louise Pearsall, the widow, is the beneficiary.
