-------------------------------------------------------------------Resolution of Respect.
Whereas, Death has once more entered our society and taken from us our beloved sister and co-worker in Christ, Sarah A. Pearsall, we are admonished, "Be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh." Those who knew her best loved her most. We shall miss her cheerful countenance from our meeting, and her willing assistance. Her loss is all work of the society will ever be felt. We know she has "done what she could," and has entered into that rest which ever remaineth for the people of God. Therefore, be it Resolved, That we, the officers and members of the Woman's Home Missionary Society, express our heartfelt sorrow at the loss of our sister, and be it further Resolved, That we tender our sincere sympathy to the family of our sister in their sad bereavement, and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to them, and be it further Resolved, That these resolutions be placed in the minutes of the society and published in the village paper.
